That is the display when playing a 'Battlez' puzzle, instead of a 'Quest'. Toolz, Toyz and Brickz are automatically generated for each player (but the game only seems playable with the human against three computer opponents). That's why you see the Toolz column filled, a couple of Toyz in the Toyz column and a Brick or two in the Brickz column.

That's why you see the Toolz column filled, a couple of Toyz in the Toyz column and a Brick or two in the Brickz column. Both Battlez and Questz use the same Gruntz Machine. However, the one shown on the screenshot uses a visibly different design, together with much different icons for Toolz and such. I know that there is a number of seemingly unused, possibly beta-version elements present within the game files. You can take a closer look at them with REZExtractor, available here: gooroosgruntz.proboards.com/thread/2274/list-utilities-tutorials-custom-tilesets

It's a leftover graphic from a previous version of Gruntz, left in the final game's main archive. There are also unused old versions of the Gauntletz and Sword Gruntz sprites left inside, along with what seems to be a curved knife accessory for Normal Gruntz. But the gauntletz in those unused sprites are brown and spiked, so they were probably from an earlier version than the early Gruntz Machine image. There's evidence to support debug tools still exist in the final game: - A Grunt creation tool with customisable attributes
- A level selection tool (redundant)
- A Grunt positioning tool
- An attributes (rects?) editing tool
This game also had a pre-release demo at one stage, with an activation key and expiry date.

Perhaps ZippyShare requires .zip files ... but for files such as *.wwd, the 'archive' is frequently several times the size of the actual puzzle. Also, I do not trust executable files for download, so self-extracting 'archives' (unlike ZIP) are NOT accepted here. The largest Gruntz Custom Level (so far) is about 40KB; wrapping a self-extracting program around it creates a file around 120KB. My original e-mail account had a limit of 5MB, and I had to constantly delete old and/or unwanted messages in order to prevent the loss of new WANTED messages. So I always prefer the smallest possible files transferred to me. For the purpose of Gruntz documentation files, such as Statz page screen grabs, .PNG is usually about 15% larger than the same image stored as .JPG. Any 'loss' in the display is minor, as the important information is clearly readable in a JPEG.

Guys,i found another beta screenshot : I have captured this image, and will upload it to the Forum's web host. When that is done, I will change the links in this post and its original to display the web host version. Sorry, but those 'free' web hosts frequently just ... go away ... and what would be left here would be [image].
