The idea of the level is simple. There are four enemy Sword Gruntz on the map and they are the only possible sourcez of goo puddlez, from which a new Grunt must be baked to complete the level. However every fight is different and there are no powerful toolz to use. Also watch out for spikez that I put everywhere. Taking too much unnecessary damage will make it impossible to finish the level with a 'Perfect' score.

Lookz like I will end the age of no submissionz on the forum (at least for this year). Thankz for releasing my old map "Cash Mania" and sorry for any inconveniencez I may have caused before but I really had problemz in understanding you because of my poor English capabilitiez. "Cash Mania" was quite bad but I plan on going back to some of my older projectz (unlike "The Four Sword Gruntz" map which was a totally new idea).

I have captured the image, and after church I will create the necessary folder and populate it. Then the Forum announcement may be used to view the progress.

I think this level could use more testers. I don't know if I'll be able to complete it, soon anyways.

I now have an available Windows XP computer that is already set up to play Gruntz!

I am creating a DVD to bring everything up-to-date on the computer, and when I install it manually, I will begin to do some testing of those Custom Levelz received since my problems began in December 2015. So please send me the map, so I may install it and do my own play-test.

Actually, this PC has a ZIP drive (and about a dozen media in sizes from 100Mb to 750Mb), 1 USB1 port and 2 USB2 ports, and a (horrors!) 3-1/2" floppy disk drive (that works!), besides the normal hard drive and CD/DVD drive. My back-up copy of Gruntz is mounted, and I have played an 'Easy' Custom Level without any problems. I just need to hook up sound speakers to get the full value of the game.

For me, Gruntz is alive again!!!

Since I was able to create a "View the map" for this one, I must have had the WWD ... but when my computer went belly-up, I lost everything Gruntz on the hard drive with the reinstall. So I need to recover this puzzle in order to try to do anything more with it.

You will need to ask swietymiki about the current version... I've suggested several changes to the level already, though I still have to say that this is a level that most certainly needs more than one save slot.

I would like a Statz Page image to add to the thread Announcement entry. But this thread will already be in "Gruntz In Space" before it can be provided. I will copy what I recieve to the web host, and the images should 'magically' appear for the next view.

I am currently working on the "Gruntz In Space" index, which was somehow obfuscated ... new line/carriage returns omitted, leaving maximum length strings ... so that finding where to add a new entry is very difficult. I shudder to think that that may be true for ALL of the indicez, multiplying my maintenance time severly.

So far, 3 of the 5 indices in which this Custom Level appearz have been obfuscated ... the carriage return/line feedz removed. Naturally, they were the largest onez, only difficulty and the (new) by release date indicez were uncorrupted. Now I can go to work on the 21 puzzlez submitted by Wedrikul ... all of them no larger than 32 tilez wide by 24 tilez tall ... and many of them smaller than that!

I will be off-line (probably for most of the remaining 9 hourz of this day) making further effort at updating the XP computer enough to be able to play Gruntz on it ... and prepare "View the map!" imagez.

I'm here only to remind that the updated map image, Zu's statz and the walkthrough of this level still aren't accessible on this thread. Are they uploaded to the web host?

Walk-through has not been uploaded to the web host yet, but the images now appear in the Announcement part of this thread.

The program I acquired to access .doc files does strange things, so I will search for the open source version mentioned elsewhere.
