New and Improved ... NOT!!!

Google's contribution to the FitBit watch company has made it impossible for me to access my dashboard. Their ad touting their new app refuses to go away, and the links have (obviously) been disabled that allow users to go directly to the dashboard.

What scares me is that my email account is married to Google, and I may find myself in need of a new email account. After close to 20 years with gmail, I am not happy to have to consider a replacement.

My daughter (and her husband) came by yesterday and she commented that she had installed Google's app for her FitBit ... and that it stinks! Nothing works as well as the PC Dashboard did, and many of the features of the original dashboard do not even exist in the new app. The arrogance of today's system engineers (aka programmers) is appalling! They default things to what they like things to contain ... and do seemingly everything possible to prevent (permanent) change by the users to what they want to see.
