Just testing Your access, or the link to the walkthrough (or both!)? You have the power (don't abuse it ) to delete the replies in this thread ... probably even the power to delete the entire thread! I'm sooooo glad you decided to join in!

Both I am amazed at the amount of work you have completed so quickly. (Even though I supose it would have been easier the second time round)

Designer: The Kirby Date released: This Custom Level will be part of a series that Kirby wants to do duplicating the original levels Once there is more information I will post it here. It will be interesting to see how close to the original it is

I attempted to update the walk-through link for this Standard Level as a test, but it does not work. I am unable to navigate Paul's Gruntz Page in order to determine the correct addressing for the walk-through, so need a bit of .

Page with this walkthrough is:

Rest of walkthroughz are similar, only prefix changes.
Hope this helped ... somehow.

Interestingly enough, the map available for download from this post is NOT the original level from the game. Its date of modification is 1st January 2004 and the author field says: Rebuilt by "The Kirby".

At the time this Forum was established, I did not have the know-how to extract the maps from the Gruntz.REZ file ... but had the provided map. I wonder just what was changed? Or if it matters at all.

There are a couple of things missing in Chrystien's version (9 objects): one SecretLevelTrigger, one VoiceTrigger, one HelpBox and some EyeCandies. The timing of Secrets is also slightly different.
So, for the sake of exactness, I suggest replacing the current download link with the original map, extracted from the REZ file.

Any ideas as to how THAT was accomplished?!?

The name change only happens when launching through the Questz menu. If play the map as a Custom Level, it will still say "LEVEL1". Standard Level names are kept in the exe file: Starting from ID 33143. The game just reads them instead of the file name.

So, if I take the time to truly examine the WWD, I will find 33143 somewhere in the Object Dialog Box. (And 33144+ in the other Standard Levelz.)

No, it's not a property of the map file because when I loaded the same map from the Custom folder, it didn't change the name.
Gruntz developers only coded the Standard Levelz to take their names from a different place, to have next level buttons, etc.

Ah! It would be worthwhile to discover how to do that in OUR Questz, where Designers have put together Custom Levelz that could easily be considered part of a natural group.

I think one could achieve this effect by replacing the WWD files of the standard levels in the Gruntz REZ with custom ones. And replace the HELP file entries to provide the desired display names of the Questz. There are possibilities there.
