To see a list of the Custom Levelz designed by GooRoo, available from Paul's Gruntz PageThis is somewhat of a stressful Custom Level, since it usez the timer ... 10:00 minutez to start. Picking up a StopWatch addz one minute to your remaining time to solve the puzzlez. Satisfying a CheckPoint Switch (there are at least five of them) can add far more time to what you have remaining. Most of my CLz are for play in the normal mode (only), but this one has an EZ version for anyone who wantz it. The EZ version is not available by download from Paul's Gruntz page ... you can only it here.

When I get to the checkpoint with the beach ball, and give it to the swordz gruntz, he just stands on the green switch. What do I do with him, and, where do I go from there? The switchez in the southeast corner are not all down yet....but I sure could use that zap cola!

You want that Grunt to remain standing on the Green Hold Switch, so don't antagonize him! There is more than enough Zap Cola hidden in various places around the map, should your health get lower than you'd like it. Perhaps you will find something along the way that will take care of any other Pyramidz standing in your way.

GooRoo...in the walkthrough you wrote to give the beachball to the swordz enemy as soon as he stands on the PS... and that's the way it should be... otherwise the pp and the GP will be up...

GooRoo...in the walkthrough you wrote to give the beachball to the swordz enemy as soon as he stands on the PS... and that's the way it should be... otherwise the pp and the GP will be up... The solver'z Grunt has to pass by that Sword Grunt twice ... and only has the BeachBall to hold the Sword Grunt in a useful place once. My comment was about the time the solver passez by the Sword Grunt without using the BeachBall. (Take a hit from the Sword, then run away for some refreshing Zap Cola.)

after gauntletz stoond on the 2 nd checkpoint, I sent springz north to the 3 BTSz... gauntletz is send through the BW and sqished the swordz enemy (without getting hit) ... now I get confused... I have to enter the GP maze again and exit near the water... is there a warmhole or do I have to go through the spikez...

With this CRS problem I cannot be sure, but I believe that the only Wormholez in this puzzle are the one where your Grunt enterz the map initially, and the Secret Red Warp. Almost all of the travel is via 'leather express' ... walking (or Springing )

okay......in the walkthrough it says gauntletz steps on the BOS to free BH in easy.......or on the RW trigger in normal....."but in either case the one to send through the RW is BH"....how?...BH is still trapped in normal mode and Gauntlets does NOT have enough life to take a hit from swordz....which will happen cus he holds up the toy saying LOOK at what I got!....and then is dead before you can use it....i have had poor gauntletz die so many times i think all that goo is clogging up my CPU!

This is another Gruntz Custom Level without a Statz Page image ... and consequently no Statz info: we can post in the original thread.
Would someone please (re-)play this CL, (preferably make a (ordered) list of the actual Toolz/Toyz/Powerupz acquired) and do a screen grab of the Statz Page showing a "PERFECT!" result? Send the JPEG attachment in e-mail with any other data to GooRoo@marinersmvp.com.

I finish this level, but , I lost one coinz I have had a Microsoft Word walk-through for some time, and just linked it in, so it may be accessed on-line from the Forum's web host ... and printed out (as I just did). I planned to solve it today in order to provide Statz info: and a Statz Page image showing a " PERFECT!" result ... and will create an HTML version of the walk-through as a result. Then the location of every Coin (and other thingz!) will be in printable form, so anyone may determine which item they missed.

I want play the WaterHazardEZ but the green pyramid is imposible to pass, some help? Are you playing in 'easy mode' when playing the EZ version of the Custom Level? If so, the Rolling Rockz move much slower ... and you need to be really patient. I am currently playing (sloooooowly) the normal version, and writing the walk-through as I am doing it ... which has already caused several restartz, since the time keepz running out on me. When I finish, I will play it in 'easy mode' to determine if there are any unsolvable problemz introduced by the slowly moving Rolling Rockz .

I just completed this Custom Level, falling one Coin short, in 18:21. Now I need to determine where that 22 nd one is located, so I can complete the walk-through and achieve a " PERFECT!" score for the Statz Page image. (Or perhapz, I will find there is some weird sort of "fatal flaw" in this that preventz acquisition of that Coin , and will need to release a corrected version. )

Yet another Gruntz game engine 'bug' revealed here! I moved the Coin from the upper left-hand corner ( X=0, Y=0) slightly, and replayed the Custom Level ... to a " PERFECT!" result! It is definitely true for Coinz , and is probably true for Toolz, Toyz and PowerUpz as well; if located at X=0, Y=0 ... the item is not counted. (We already knew that the problem existed for Switchez.) There is now an additional Download link in the original post in this thread, which will give anyone interested the revised (corrected) version of this Custom Level. I also added 2 minutez and 30 secondz to the first Gauntletz CheckPoint Switch ... and reduced the second one from 4 minutez and 30 secondz to 2 minutez and 30 secondz ... a net gain of 30 secondz for solverz. Now I will make the same Coin move in the EZ version, and re-upload that as well.

I apparently used "reverse logic" in creating the EZ version of this Custom Level, and sped up the Rolling Rockz , instead of slowing them down (I did it manually, because I am still playing in 'normal' mode). That has been corrected. IIRC, playing in 'Easy' mode will slow them down to about half the designed speed. Also, the Crumble Bridge Tilez ... won't crumble. The EZ Statz Page image provez that it can be solved in 'normal' mode, so should certainly be solvable in 'easy' mode ... but I am not going to take the time to test it.
