Notes: This is a "tryout" level.
This Custom Level was originally available from: Gruntz - The Journey Home which no longer supports downloads (and now is a security risk) ... but the successor GooRoo's Gruntz - The Journey Home (still) does!

Another 80X80 Custom Level trimmed down (greatly) in size without losing any of the original play value. In fact, I added some play value as part of the changez I made to bring it down to (a loose) 36X32. I added about a minute and a half to my own solving time, using very simple changez.
Happy Gruntzing!!!

Gruntz Fanz in groupz 2 & 5 did not receive this one today (outgoing limit exceeded ), I will try to re-send it tomorrow. It is merely a down-sized version of Chrystien's original 80X80 puzzle, not worth counting as a 'new' Custom Level. But there are a lot of thingz added to the 32X32 map after throwing out everything that wasn't actually used in the original, while everything that was used in the original is retained.

Well, I'm having a heck of a time finding one lonely coin. So first of all, does the arrow pointing up on the south side have any significance?( Where the toob grunt has to step carefully among the trees) And secondly Do the arrows on the high left side of the fortress have any reasoning behind them. I can;t seem to find what they do that's of any importance. (I know what t do about the bottom right arrows and RR) Next there's lots of tree's and the stats page says i found all the RW's. Also used the blue warps to great effect. There seems to be no other way to get thru the trees. I did find the hidden coins that are findable by triggering over by the fortress and also dug up a couple or so. So what am I missing please? Some of these trees have to have to be hiding that coin but .

Are you playing Grunt Forest 2 (the version I modified and down-sized), or the original? In Grunt Forest 2 there are two Arrowz that point to a Secret Tile, along the left edge, and near the right edge. The intersection of the two linez drawn from those Arrowz is the Secret Tile.

I can for the life of me not find the way through that rock. As far as I can tell I've tried everything that's possible, so even though I hate saying this I could really really really use some help here.
Also, the top left wormhole really shouldn't warp the grunt onto those pyramidz. For some reason my grunt walked into the blue wormhole despite me telling him to go to the switch next to it, and when I was about to use said wormhole to warp back it disappeared and nothing happened because I didn't activate the switch.

I went back to check for Gauntletz, but I could still find none in any of the three areas I could access before the rock. Also according to this page, there are only three Toolz in total, and I've already found three (Swordz, Shovelz and Toobz), none of them being Gauntletz. I've tried checking for a nastily hidden red wormhole as well, but also didn't find one (this is aside from the one the arrows point to).

Turns out that this level uses the infamous "magic shovelz" trick, which involves you first filling up a hole, and then digging it back out to reveal something that previously wasn't there.
Also, I can't say I'm a fan of the fact that this level requires using a red wormhole in order to progress...

Also, I can't say I'm a fan of the fact that this level requires using a red wormhole in order to progress... Yep, I found out about that trick while I was doing a different custom level just now and it looks like this is what'll get me forward here too. I only started going through them yesterday so I feel like I'm gonna have a whole lot of digging to do... This is also not the only level where a red wormhole is required for progression, and it's actually rather tame compared to some other levels I've cleared that require using multiple red wormholes...
