The gunhatz does NOT kill the 2 purple swordz. In fact, they're not killed at all!
The bombz is used to uncover the shovel.
It'll take 2 gruntz to get the megaphone by the swordz. (Gamer and his "evil" mind at work again)

Hehe I saved the hardest puzzle until last, this is the hardest "know what to do where" type puzzle, and I threw in a few decoys for good measure. (Actually that impossible green pyramid puzzle was unfinished business from when I was working on the conversion part much earlier; I needed a way that looked plausible but wasn't so a solver might disregard it.) Probably my favorite part of this part (other than the secret switch part) was the two enemy gruntz part. But don't blame me, blame the two sword gruntz

So, ignore the GP maze....go directly to the RTS area? 2. I can get the bomb by walking down through the RR's and picking it up... 3. How do I get the megaphone then? Bait and switch? 4. Where is the secret to the BHS in the lower left corner...
Got to go back to my last save ,....aarrrgghh!

Yes forget the GP maze but RTS area? Now that you have the bomb, do you know what to do with it? Something like that. You'll lose one grunt, but remember.. it takes a little bit between swings for the sword gruntz.... got someone who moves fast but can take a hit The strawz is the key here.

(Gamer and his "evil" mind at work again) If you use the bombz to uncover the shovel, you have no way to get someone else in there to use it....or get the spygear....is that a decoy too? You still have to give each of the four barehanded gruntz a toobz...there is no way to get them all into the fort area...with the RR's, etc. And how do I bribe those swordz? I don't have any toyz....a gunhat workz nicely....there are no other enemies ahead!

First of all, not all four gruntz will survive to the fort area. Also make sure you have gone to the part with the spring maze, that is needed and doesn't require anything but a grunt that can throw away his tool.
Remember that a perfect is possible, so all tools have to be obtained some way or another. That spy gear isn't a decoy, it will be obtained.
I don't understand your comment about the shovels. You just send a grunt in there to pick it up after it's accessible.
This secret is much easier if you ignore the secret switch; many of the things you do in this part is getting ready for it. Realize that you COULD do a few things that make things easier, but they disallow you from getting to the secret.

Ok, so the GP area is a decoy....I will forget about it -- for now.... Still, IF I am to get the shovel, I must sacrifice a bomb grunt, AND someone else has to go in there to pick it up, getting trapped by the BOTS....so tell me how to get around it.... THEN, you said I have to go to the springz area....well, how do I GET there? I am close to finishing this level, and when I do, remind me to send you some hate mail!

Use the shovel to dig up the holes, then proceed on. There will be two shovels to use, but you only need one now.
The springz area is easy to get to. Walk through the rolling ball maze to the water. Just use a toob grunt to walk across to the springs, then use the bridge to get back.

Springz went and did his thing. Bombz went and did his thing. Toobz went and got the shovel and got the spygear. 1 toobz left. 3 all together.
Spygear and toobz go to get the megaphone, sacrificing toobz.
1. How do I get that first portion of the toggle bridge to raise up so I can take the shovelz across the tarpit... 2. When I get there, can I now use the gunhatz on the three gruntz to the south? 3.Where is the secret to the rockz to the right of the fort?

1. How do I get that first portion of the toggle bridge to raise up so I can take the shovelz across the tarpit... Remove a Grunt standing on a Blue Hold Switch. No, only on one of them ... but that's good enough. Shovel will find it.

I'm just now getting to this one without cheating that is. And I know you're all gonna hate me for this but. . . Going back to Gamer's reply on 9/14/04 at 4:39pm, he says to kill the toyer "and bring the bomb grunt up to the top area in this part with the treez, rockz and holez. Your bomb grunt should be placed around the area of the bottom right pyramid of the area just above, and should go running with the bomb towards the gold pyramids (did he mean bricks?) and eventually blow them up." While this sounds real good on paper, I cannot make my bomber do that. There is a black pyramid and a tree in the way, which he will not go through, even at an angle. I've tried from all over the area, I'm getting really frustrated. Please

It really doez work! Go up into the area where the enemy SuicideBomber Grunt was(?), to the west of his starting location. Sight a very long diagonal to the Gold Brickz ... make sure the diagonal doez not have a 'bend' in it. Light the fuse and take off! (You can move closer to the Grey Pyramidz, in order to get a better 'view' of the path.) Come back and let us know when you are successful, so we can with you!

We are talking about the same place, aren't we? The area above the 2 timed bridges, BOTS and yellow bricks. The area with the trees, holes and rocks? The area to the immediate east of the sword, shield, springz checkpoint? I don't know how to get into that area. It is completely surrounded with silver pyramids, and one rock which I have no way of breaking. (more )

Before you satisfied that Sword/Shield/Springz CheckPoint, you had a Grunt with Gauntletz that could break the Rock nestled between two Grey Pyramidz, by striking on the diagonal. Go back to the SAVE you made prior to satisfying that CheckPointSwitch, and use those Gauntletz before you have the 3 S'z on Switchez.

[img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[] Thanks Gooroo, I thought those gauntletz were probably for later in the level so I never picked them up. Got through that part and went through the arrowz and rockz, even got over the crumble bridge OK, but am now stumped by those 49 stupid orange switchez. Am I really the only one that is having trouble There's no mention of them in the previous 10 pages here. A couple of hintz would really be appreciated I'm at that wall again

I solved the Orange Pyramidz through 'trial and error' (mostly error!), and since Gamer had a lot of problemz creating that part of the Custom Level, even the designer may not be a whole lot of help!

... but am now stumped by those 49 stupid orange switchez. Am I really the only one that is having trouble There's no mention of them in the previous 10 pages here. A couple of hintz would really be appreciated The best hint I can give for the orange pyramids is to either print out a screen image of the area or draw yourself a diagram. Each orange switch will raise one pyramid and lower another. There is an adjacent switch that will do the opposite, or in the case of the groups of 6 switches in the lower right part of this area, there is a column of 3 switches. Your task is to find a path you can create through "most" of the pyramids before stepping on another orange switch. The only hint I can give you at this point is that you will have to go south.. then north. You will also have to step on 2 more switches AFTER you get your springs through most of the maze.

I hate the way the orange switch logics work, so I had a few troubles with the logics. One thing I would advise is start with one of the ends; there are two pyramids involved there that must be lowered, which help you on your way there by eliminating some possibilities

Thanks for the advice everyone. I took a screen shot, hit every switch and figured out which pyramid it controlled. I figured a path to the exit, but the pyramid in front of the exit will not go down. There is no switch which controls it that I could find.
