You have to go a little further (out of the main Orange Up/Down Switch area) to find the final OU/DS.

These two orange switches are apart from the others, one is to the left of rolling balls, and the other is above rolling balls.
One other question, the idea on this level was to send one grunt through to the big clump of orange switches and press some of them and then to the final orange switch (to the left of the rolling balls and under the arrows), and THEN send the other grunt through. Is that what was done, or were you able to modify orange switches while sending the grunt through?

I had to get the grunt almost through and then press another switch to get him to the last pyramid. Now I will have to get my springz to that final switch to get him all the way through. Is this not right?

I wrote a walkthrough for this extreme level and sent it to GooRoo....hopefully he found it in his message box, and will provide a link to it in the original post....
If he didn't, let me know, and I will rewrite it and send it again....(hope I didn't throw out my notes!)
I have been away for a week, thanks for all of the new emoticons!!

Thanks WalkingBear, [img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[] I'm looking forward to that! Sometimes I think I'm so smart and I get things just fine, and then I have a mental slip and I don't get anything. It seems to be going that way with this puzzle.

This is an extremely complex level. There are many sublevels to go through and it took me weeks, with help. That's why I feel so strongly about walkthroughs. Yes, it is good to try and figure it out by yourself, and sometimes, I can...but for a level like this one, it would have been a great help to have some guidance. Let me know if you get stuck again and I will do my best to get you through to the next blockade!

I have not been able to find an e-mail with a walkthrough for "Bombz Away!", and there is nothing in PMs either. I will go back and re-read the posts in this thread, to see if it was given in a post. Don't you have a NotePad or MS Word/Works copy of the walkthrough? I used MS Word for most of my walkthroughz, but now am looking for something more HTML friendly, so I may create them more like Paul's "A World of Sweetz" excellent walkthrough. Anyway, I would think that you would have the walkthrough in a form that you could just copy and paste into either an e-mail or PM. That would speed up the process considerably!

Agh! I had a terrible time with this level (Good Show Gamer!!) Somehow I lost all my saved games so I had to start all over Then I got to the end and I couldn't find the blue hold/toggle switch that would raise the bridge to the tar pit. So in the end I had to cheat in order to finish with a perfect. A walkthrough would be really good. Even though it was frustrating, it was very fun! Thankz for all the help everyone.

Remember the Hard Hat that you should have saved for a very long time, that is used here to hit one of the gruntz. The blue toggle switch is in the platform below the tar pit where there's enemy gruntz, but you can't reach that area with one of YOUR gruntz, so you will need to get help with an enemy grunt. I hope you had fun playing it

I have uploaded the walkthrough for "Bombz Away!" to my web host, and linked to it in the original post in this thread. My next walkthrough evaluation is for "8 Ball, Corner Pocket" ... a CL that I have never successfully completed, myself! With the Easter week-end, my next Gruntz session may well not be until some time Monday.

A great (and a long) job, WalkingBear, IdleAl and GooRoo... maybe now I'll be able to continue this CL ... after I'll be able to set my lousy timing ... I'm still stuck digging out the arrowz... I'm too slow...

The trick with the arrowz is this Gaby....save your game while your gruntz are near the PMGS'z...then release the RR and get the shovel to dig the holez...don't worry about the RR for now...see which holez he needz to dig FIRST....then, go back reload your game...and watch for the RR to come up and AS SOON AS it crosses the TWA'z, send your grunt at the top to get the shovel...while he is digging, you can work on sending the other gruntz up..to stand on the TWA and gauntletz to stand near the bridge. Shovelz will have plenty of time to get the two coinz after the RR goez over the bridge...

Thank you, thank you for the walkthrough. I just spent several hours going through this level again, and this time things were much more clear. One problem though, and I'm pretty sure I did every thing I was supposed to. I have the warpstone in hand. You say to stand on the GHS below the fort so the gauntletz can break the bricks. But. . .Gauntletz is stuck on the GHS above the 3 GPs. I can't figure out how to get both gruntz to fort area. What did I do wrong

The trick is in the timing of when Gauntletz breakz the Rockz on the endz. Break the Rock in the center, then have your buddy stand on the Green Hold Switch, and break the Rock(z) on the end. That way, the Green Pyramid in the center will be in the opposite state of the Green Pyramid(z) on the end(z). So a Grunt getz off the GHS to raise the center GP and lower the end(z) GP(z), making it easy to move.

Yes, this is one of Gamer's more devious ploys. If you don't break the bricks in the correct order, you will be hopelessly stuck. IIRC, Gamer used this device in another of his levels, "Salta, Salta, Salta" I think.

Give that 'stuck' Grunt a Suicide Bomb and point him in the correct direction and watch him run! I have tried this and the BTS grunt just runs on to an arrow and then back onto the BTS..... I AM supposed to point him at the rocks by the BOT, correct?

you are very brave, kat... choosing that level as one of your first levelz for this is an extremely complex level... but... good luck to you... and yes you should direct the suicide bomb to the far rockz...
