Until GMan reminded me that the Rolling SnowBall activated the Green Toggle Switch, I though I had a mistake in this CL ... and made a couple changez to provide a solution to a problem you (or WalkingBear) had. So I will delete the changed version, and re-download the same one you are using and play through it in order to answer questions on it. (I have forgotten so much about this CL!)

Ok, I got the boomerang to his warp and he killed all of the yellow boomerang's in his area...got the coin and back...whew! The shovelz got to his checkpoint, but the timing is so tight here, I can do it without getting the "R" and the coin on the island, otherwise I miss that last step before the bridge. Am I supposed to get the "R" and the coin, or leave them for another warp later on? If so, does anyone have a tip for getting the shovelz to move a little faster in order to make it in time to get back?

I figured out that on the waiting time, before the bridge to the small island comes up I can get the coin to the east and save time while coming back...

Yes, in desperation, I tried that too, and it worked fine...BUT THEN...... I got gunhatz to his warp, and killed all the spongegunz and the yellow gunhat too...and I thought as long as I was here, I'd shorten the boomerang's life a little....BIG MISTAKE....now I know why... When you give up the gunhatz for the gravity bootz, how can you satisfy that checkpoint with the gunhatz and the boomerang....or does that come later with another gunhat? And here I thought I was clever enough to finish this level today....and now I have to start over from the beginning! Well, maybe I'll be a little wiser this time.......

Okay, on those Secretz with the tight timing: Anticipate the first Tile, sending your Grunt to that one, then immediately click on a destination Tile as far away as possible; take either a prize at the bottom going up from each side, or at the top going up from each side; anticipate stepping onto the bridge Tile crossing to the island, and get everything on the island(z), then head for where the exit Tilez will appear. Leave that one enemy Boomerang Grunt alone, until you have a SpongeGun. The GunHatz/Boomerang CheckPointSwitch is a decoy ... ignore it. The Landing Area leading to the Bridge that you assemble surrounding the map is a decoy ... the work to be done on the Bridge is done by a Rolling SnowBall. SAVE before you activate the Silver Timer Switch ... the timing is very tight for that Rolling SnowBall, and it needz to make it all the way around the map to the Green Toggle Switch. If it doesn't make it, the only way to finish the CL is to cheat, once you get Gauntletz and Warpstone to the final CheckPointSwitchez ... insert a Grunt to activate the Green Toggle Switch. (I had to cheat to finish the CL for answering questions. )

after you send shovelz to the silver pyramid, trigger the YTS and go into the warp... the explosion kills the enemy gruntz on the PS and you cannot enter the silver pyramid... what about the part near the sword enemy, the Toggling bridge... you need gauntletz to get in... there you get a shovel and another pair of gauntletz... did you find the way in and aout this area? and waht about the warp you say is near the warpstons checkpoint ... did you find it ?

I was probably ok the last time, but am redoing the level to be sure.... I think I am alright until I get to the spongegun part...he goes through the spikez area, and getz to his checkpoint....I shot the boomerang off the blue switch and I think that was a mistake, that's why I started over...
So, assuming I do everything correctly up to that point........
I still need to get into the holez and mountains area with a blue warp at the top, just to the left of the pyramid area...where is the warp that takes me there? Guess I need the shovelz for that huh? But he loses his shovel when I send him through the silver pyramidz....and gets the gauntletz which break all those rockz, and getz all those coinz....so I missed something somewhere....
I realized that the gunhat/boomerang checkpoint was a decoy after reading about Gaby's encounter...still not sure about the ending here...but I get a little closer every time....

after the spongegun went trough the warp, you do not need the boomerang any more... the shovel+ball goes through the warp in the battle area after you've completed the bridge that's around the map... after you return go through the silver time pyramid...

GooRoo... you wrote on 10/27/2004 at 15:27:55: once you get Gauntletz and Warpstone to the final CheckPointSwitchez ... insert a Grunt to activate the Green Toggle Switch. sorry... it's imposible... on the way to the Warpstone you kill some enemy standing on the PS ... so the PP now blocks the way to the silver pyramid... you've got to activate the Green Toggle Switch before entering the warp ... Have you found the warp leading from the Warpstone CheckPoint to the warpstone area so that gauntletz can get the warpstone...

The Green Toggle Switch I am talking about is the one at the very bottom center of the map, near the 'decoy' GunHatz/Boomerang CheckPointSwitch. If the Rolling SnowBall released when you send a Grunt through the Silver Timer Switch/Pyramidz sub-puzzle does not make it to that GTS, you must 'cheat' and insert a new Grunt in a place where it can reach that GTS. There are two Blue Wormholez that may be reached when all of those Giant Rockz are demolished in the southwest part of the map. One leadz to the Gauntletz CheckPointSwitch (squashing the Gauntletz Grunt), the other to the WarpStone CPS. The Gauntletz Grunt goez through the Blue Wormhole in the southwest corner of the 'Pyramid area'.

you have to send your shovelz through the silver time pyramid after the bridge is completed... and after you've sent shovelz+ball through the warp in the battle area... and cleans the holez and rockz area.... then you release the snowball with the GTS and go into the warp... to clean the rock field ... get the coinz and to activate the ? secret... the gauntletz checkpoint is reachable with no warpz ... the right warp leads to the warpstonz checkpoint, the left warp leads to the battle area... once the gauntletz gets to the warpstonz checkpoint trough the warp to break the rock that blockes the way (and gets the coin) there is no way to return to the warpstone area to pick it up and go through the warp to the battle area to use the warp that leads to the checkpoint...

Ah! But in my solution there is a Gauntletz Grunt back at the central pyramid area ... and the Wormhole in the southwestern corner of the pyramid area takez him to the Gauntletz/Warpstone CheckPointSwitch area!

You may have given another Tool to the Gauntletz Grunt (that I still have in my re-play). I have a general rule that I adhere to quite closely:
Always give a Tool to a bare-handed Grunt, before giving a Tool to a Grunt who already has a Tool; think twice ... and then think again ... before exchanging either Gauntletz or Shovel for any other Tool; before you even think about exchanging Gauntletz or Shovel for another Tool, wave the Tool all over the map, to be sure you haven't missed something you will need that Tool for in a solution!

I was reading again all our correspondence... you wrote that the way I changed toolz was the right way... as I thought again about your last answer... you mean that giving the gunhat to gauntlets was an error and I should have given it to the boomerang (after he finishes his task in the boomerangz area)? and gauntletz goes through the blue warp at the pyramidz area to break the blocking rock?... but then at the final summary I'll be missing one warp (the one that leads from the rockz field where the warpstone is to the pyramidz area...

thinking it over... it cannot be done untill the bridge is completed...and you realese the snowball through the silver pyramidz... Your Shovel Grunt goes through the Silver Timer Switch/Pyramidz sub-puzzle, stepping on the Yellow Toggle Switch which releases the Rolling SnowBall to make its trip around the perimeter of the map. Shovel usez the Tool to the utmost, revealing a set of Gauntletz, which he usez to start the chain reaction that demolishez all of the Giant Rockz. That revealz many Coinz, the Warpstone piece, two BLue Wormholez ... and a Gauntletz CheckPointSwitch. Pick up all of the Coinz, and satisfy the CPS, then go get the Warpstone and go through the correct Blue Wormhole. The (other) Gauntletz Grunt goez through the Blue Wormhole in the central pyramid area, to join Warpstone at the dual Gauntletz/Warpstone CPS. It the Green Pyramidz are down ... no problem ... your timing was perfect in activating the YTS that released the RSB, and it made it to the GTS. If the GPz are up (and the RSB is nowhere to be found ... in the water ) ... CHEAT!
