that's precisely the knowledge I had in mind while restarting this CL ... ... the problem in that area is that the situation frequenty changes and it is very difficult to calculate the movez.... ...

I can get the springs....with barely any life left, which means i can't get the gruntz ( sponge and grav-boots) in the spikey maze...i CAN get tp "mainland" because i havent stepped on the crumble bridgeand i have a corner to jump to.... there's tons of goo puddlez, but no goober straw....i can get gauntlets but tend to get stuck.... normally i would look at the walkthrough, but this file comes up as "cannot open word for windows 6.0"...is there another way to get the walk through or a good hint?...like work about the spike maze...YET?I know you all worked this one some months back....

You're on the right track. Springz should not fight either the spongegun or the gravity bootz, but concentrate on getting to the Black One Time (BOT) switch on the other side of the spike maze. Once safely there, he can get a keg of ZAP cola, then look around for a goober straw with which to suck up all those yummy goo puddlez. Once you have another grunt baked, then you can pick up the gauntletz.

okay I paddled like crazy to not fight the toobz so i could get the springs with my life in yellow.....finally avoided the spongez and bootz......made another gruntz.....got the shovels and gooberstrawz to the checkpointz...made a 3rd gruntz....got the redwarp and coin....pant, pant.....got springz through the crumble bridge and trying to get him thru the spitting lava "pots"NOW my question is....should i have taken the barehand through th bit by the trappedgruntz? I am assuming there's a warp (?) to the coin to the west I can't reach ( ratz)....i would hate to get the springz thru all those enemy gruntz and made into a gauntletz only to find i brought the wrong gruntz to meet him by the silver pyramid maze.....

I know I am answering a few of my own questions, as in yes barehands WAS the correct grunt to have waiting.....btw I really dislike yellow chaser boxing gruntz.....but they were defeated/avoided and springs became gauntletz, thank goodness for multiple saves and bluw warpz!....barehands became bombz and freed spongegunz.....NOW they are stuck at a seemingless insolvable ( at least for my gooey brain) twoway arrow and lava pot maze......the arrows send you to a yts that reverses the arrows only to send you to another toggle that sends you back to the first one. neither grunt is able to step diagonally without landing in a lava crater!.....even if i change bombs to timebombs......or sponge to timebombz......I can't reach the shovelz.....though I don't see the use for that yet.....and the BOTS is ..so far totally unreachable...any hintz out there?

You have to use your spongegunz to knock the timebombz off the two-way arrows so he can keep going west to the next set of arrows.

i am at the part, where my bomber gruntz has to run away from the shield and have to press the 4 black switches. which is the best way to press them and not to be killed from the shield. i have tried it hours for hours, but i couldn`t manage it. please help!!!!

I used a 'tricky trick'... after stepping on the GTS I quickly stepped on it again and got rid of the Shieldz enemy forever... #ROTFL_ani#

I used the "tricky trick" as well and it worked like a dream. Now I am at the last (I hope) of the green piramids puzzle and even after reading the hints given here I cannot make through! I had no problem with the first green piramids.....but these ones are beating me. Any help please?

you must use your instinct... it took me a long time to solve it and I still don't know how... read again Gamers replay... that can help...

IMHO this is the most difficult green pyramid puzzle ever developed. I beat it twice, but it took a looong time each time. It helps to watch it for a few minutes, taking note of the exact spots around the edge where the pyramids go down, then you must use those spots to step out of the way of the pyramidz coming at you in the second row in. So you start in the second row from the edge, you go forward a little, then step to the side (the outer edge row) and go back a little; then repeat your actions all around the outer edge until you can exit. It's very tricky and once you're through, don't forget to SAVE! You may never want to do it again.

thanks oldone, I think that Gamer's advice was for the first green piramids puzle....that was EASY in comparison, as he/she says, it had an outer layer that could be used a lot.
Well, I am going to have another go, I feel I am so near the end, it seem a pity to give up.

I have been replaying this CL, and have finished it twice in the last couple days ... each time short one Coin! All of the Toolz and Secretz come out "PERFECT!", but that one Coin is missing. Those of you have recently managed a " PERFECT!" score, do you have any suggestionz about a particularly well-hidden Coin that may be my missing piece? The 'marching Green Pyramidz' puzzle is nasty in that there is no way the solver can SAVE once the puzzle is entered, so it is necessary to make it all the way through with the first Grunt (TimeBomber). That grunt can eliminate the Rolling Rock, making it a simple matter for the second Grunt to join the first one. My path would look like a curlique ... diagonally in one tile, then due north for about seven tilez; then east one tile to wait (briefly!) before heading west for about 4 tilez, then north one tile (again, briefly!); south and west for about 4 tilez, then north one tile; south and west to the far west end one tile south of the top; north one, west one, then south about four tilez; east one and south about four tilez, then west one; east one tile, south three or four and west to safety. (Sometimes, it is necessary, to back-track a tile in order to avoid the Pyramid marching your way. )

I think this CL was THE most nasty CL ever...
