Gramley and Grumley Gruntz have been accused of robbing the 1st National Bank of Groan and they have hired their cousin, Lawyer Grimley, to defend them. The first thing Lawyer Grimley does when he arrives in Groan is look up his good friend Detective Gromley, who lives across the road from the Mayor. They visit the boyz in jail and find that the Sheriff is very friendly and willing to help with the case. After all, he's known the boyz since they were goo and doesn't believe they could ever do such a thing. Together, the three set out to discover who actually robbed the bank!

It soundz very intrigue-ing, Oldone! I better really lean on the webmaster to get things fixed on the web site, so I may (once again) properly store all of these CLz that have been turned out in the last ten dayz!

I hope every designer is reading this. Some of you will laugh, but hopefully others will learn something. I spent most of yesterday adding logics to the game and when I tried to open it (about 5:30 pm), it very simply wouldn't. There was no explanation, no little gruntz notes, no nothing. Just a black screen and "Error, Would you like to report this to Windows?" or some such thing. Sooo, I spent two hours trying to find the error. Finally I sent the game to GooRoo and asked for help. At 10:30 I quit looking, and later, ever GooRoo gave up. He also could find no errors.
This morning, I reluctantly deleted all my logics and began again, this time opening the game after every three or four logics. To my surprise, when I added a toyer grunt, the game crashed. Ah ha!! What had I done wrong? Be smart, read the directions for the logics well, and avoid hours of frustration. Put the item ID#'s in the correct boxes. When it comes to GruntStartingPoints the toy ID# goes in the Damage box, not the Powerup box. You wouldn't think something so simple could crash a game, but there you are.

Gruntz Fanz, you are in for a treat! Trying to find the error Oldone mentioned, I had a 'sneak peek' at the CL, and it is aesthetically beautiful! I wouldn't have thought that something like that could be done with any of the eight graphicz setz, but artistic talent found a way. There is a story line designed into this CL that I want to see enfold as I try to solve it ... so I will be playing the incomplete CL today ... after I make the correction Oldone mentioned. Since it appearz that EyeCandy (and maybe Voicez) are all that is left, I will probably be e-mailing this to you this weekend!

OH, GooRoo, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. The logics aren't on the SPs yet and I have to leave the computer for a while now, while Mike has his turn. I'm not sure that I can finish it so soon. Thank you for your compliments however. I hope it turns out to be as good as you're hoping for.

While Mike was using the computer, I managed to finish my story. Now I feel free to complete the logics, eye candy, etc. There are a few things I still haven't figured out yet, like who is going to pick up a certain tool at a certain time, but that will come with the playing. I think it will be a few days yet.

I'm sending what I hope is the final edition to GooRoo in a few minutes. Barring any problems, it will be out soon. I had so much fun with this one because of the story I had in my head. Unfortunately, you guys don't live there, so you may not enjoy it as much as I did. To all of you who enjoy a lot of action, you will be a little disappointed, I'm afraid. Sorry.

Actually, Gruntz Fanz, there are (I believe) ten bad guyz to deal with, so there is a bit of 'action' in this puzzle. Mostly, though, you will be digging up cluez (and other thingz), and assisting the victimz in their recovery ... of health and wealth. I am working on a CL of my own, so was unable to use a SAVE area in testing this one ... and made a fatal error by leaving a Grunt at the not-so-tender merciez of one of the bad guyz ... and could not test out the Silver Pyramidz part of the CL. Since I cannot do the job properly anyway (storing everything provided me for the CL), I will send this one out to everyone on the Gruntz Fanz mailing list. If the web host problemz ever get resolved ... I will make the last half dozen or so CLz available for download in their own threadz here. Honestly, I am not trying to pressure anyone into joining the "Gruntz Fanz" address list ... although I would be happy if more were to join in order to get the CLz sooner.

Tomorrow afternoon I will create and/or move threadz for all of the latest released Custom Levelz, even though I still have the web hosting problemz. So the link to download this CL will not work until I put something in the News Fader, and update the "Hot Topicz" section of the main page "Info Box". Hopefully, that will be soon. As of right now, I still cannot even reach the maintenance section fo the web site.

I think I have made a fatal error of my own at the fire pit....I sent one of my gruntz around to pick up the coinz...and although I noticed the BTS'z at the end, I thought they were part of the eye candy...and now I cannot get across the "ditch"....what was I supposed to do there, to get to those switchez, please? And, what am I supposed to do in the area with all the holez and geyserz? I started filling them in, but they appear to be empty holez....or not? Thanks, oldone, another stumper!!!

Well. I am totally frustrated now....
Got the boomerang and the springz....they did all they could and then boomerang got the shovel from the west end...springz went to do his thing in the fire pit....he stepped on the ? switch (boomerang had already killed the shovel thief) and then picked up that shovel on his way out... BUT I noticed that when someone stepz on the spike tile above the fire pit, it triggerz a RW...I assume this is the second one to exchange with a grunt trapped by the purple pyramidz...
SO, my question is this: I need a gooberstraw to make some new gruntz...but where is it? I have dug up everything I can find, broken all the rockz...and the only gooberstraw I see is one inside a house by the fort, that I can't pick up...(like all those other toolz, and toyz and stuff)
AND, how can I get someone back on that tile in the fire pit to exchange with a grunt who is trapped?
Arghh!!!! I hate these partz!!!!
