IdleAl (BETA tester) tellz me that there are 100 Coinz in the CL, but the statz page only showz a count of 99 (even though none were missed!), so there appearz to be a bug that limits the counter to two digits (99).
Should I delete one Coin, so that the game will give solverz a "PERFECT!" by gathering 99 Coinz?

I agree with Gaby, go for it. And just for me, try to delete one of the harder ones to get. Ha ha!

Gaby, were you able to get the warp letter in Gruntz in Space, Stage 3 (Would Someone Get those Purple Switchez for Me?)? Very similar puzzle here. It's all in the placement of your spongegunz, learning how to switch gruntz quickly, and a bit of timing. Here is how I do it: 1. Place one spongegun on the tile at the west end of the holez. 2. Place the other spongegun on the tile above the hole third from the left. 3. Assign a number to the spongegun just placed by pressing Ctrl-# (where # = a number 1-9 from the keyboard). 4. Center the screen on the grunt you just assigned a number to by pressing its number twice. 5. Select the spongegun at the west end of the holez. The next 3 steps need to be done in rapid succession: 6. Using the T key function, aim and fire a sponge at the arrow just to the right of the creation pad where your barehand grunt stands. 7. Quickly press the second spongegunz' number to select him, press T, aim, and fire at the arrow up and to the left of the gauntletz. 8. Quickly select the barehand grunt and move him onto the arrow just to the right of the creation pad. If all goes well, he steps onto the arrow just as the first sponge arrives, just in time to be knocked onto the arrow above and to the left of the gauntletz, which should be just as the second sponge arrives knocking him onto the gauntletz. Good luck!

Plus, if one payz attention to the Tilez that are unique in some squarez, they pretty much tell you where special thingz happen ... or Gruntz should stand ... or a path to take.

OK GooRoo, I downloaded again and I got back up to F3. I have Goober straw, Gauntletz, and Shovel. All enemyz are dead ( I shot the bottom one to the BOT before I killed him) and have been sucked up. I have 2 gruntz in the oven. The blue switches have been reset. I went a little further in the game but things didn't work out to well so I came back to here. I didn't know if I should stand on the BOTs or not. It seems to strand strawz. Then when I got to E3, and went through the BW over the BOT in the lower corner, it sent me to G6 instead of to F1 where I was needed by the others. So, again, now I'm stumped. I went back to F3. Do I stand on the BOTs and strand one of my gruntz, (and if so which one), or leave them alone. I can't figure out what they control. Also, I was reading through you move-by-move inventory and I think I may have messed up. You say for #26 at f8-e6 that "gauntletz getz squeak toy, squeak toy blockz object guard, timebomb removez object guard, gauntletz retrievez squeak toy." Please tell me how to retrieve the toy once it's been given to an enemy. Or am I misunderstanding you?

Your quote was accurate ... " ... Squeak Toy blockz ..."; you don't give the Toy to the Grunt ... you set it down in his path, causing him to reverse. After the TImeBOmb goez off, you can retrieve the ToyBox still sitting on the ground. One of the 'gimmickz' of this Custom Level is with Object Guardz ... several different wayz were employed to use the Object Guardz to do thingz.

Give me half an hour after the timestamp of this post, and I will delete one Coin and re-upload it to my web host. (In that amount of time I will be unable to verify that the Gruntz game recordz "99 of 99", though.

I'm so clumsy handlng 3 gruntz at the same time... maybe there is another possibility... Gaby, I have found it profitable to practice switching from one spongegun to the other, all the way up to, and including, aiming and firing the second spongegun at its proper arrow. The only thing I don't do is move the barehand off the creation pad. Once I get the "hang" of, and "feel for" how to switch from one grunt to the next with a minimum of mistakes, then it's time to try it for "real". More often than not, I manage to be successful on my first "real" try. Another thing, don't be overly concerned about perfectly centering the spongegun cursor, especially for the second spongegun. As long as the cursor is located somewhere within the confines of the tile (I know, without definable borders that's kind of hard to determine), then the sponge will land on that tile.

Thanks GooRoo for the tip on the enemy guard. I finally figured out how to just drop the toy and pick it up later. Worked great. Now I'm back to square 37 (f1) with no strawz again. So I go back to 33 (f3). If I step on all the BOT switches, then one of my gruntz gets stuck there. Do I need to step on the BOTs or not? (I tried to get the enemy to do it but couldn't get to the right angles to shoot them so I gave up on that except for the one at the south. ) This spot seems to be where I just get confused. Help please!

That square is one where I have succumbed to the tendency of so many CL designerz, and planned it to take advantage of a bug in the Gruntz game engine. It is possible to walk right through Pyramidz (on the diagonal) while they are in the process of being raised. The Gauntletz Grunt should be the last Grunt into the area, and all of the Black Pyramidz except for the onez nearest where your Gruntz warp in should be raised. Gauntletz activatez the last BOTS, raising the last set of BPz, and lowering the other three setz that are around the edge. Your task: how to do thingz so that the BPz are in the statez I just described.
