I'm having a little trouble as I don't know when to go back to the barehanded who gets the toobz. It's certainly before I get the gooberstraw in the spikes/holes area. I know from experience that's a little too late.

Actually, if you rearrange the walkthrough as I mentioned a couple of postz ago, the order is Bricklayer, Springz and then Toobz. So you should be fine. The problem is if certain Moundz are dug up at the wrong time. You need to Keep The Ball Rolling around the outside track until you have taken care of (most of) the Spikez/Holez/Hit & Run SpongeGunnerz area. (I would make the changez to send the 8-Ball into the inner ringz as soon as all of the SpongeGunnerz and the Sword Grunt have been 'neutralized'. Then go back down into the Spikez/Holez area to 'police' the area with the GooberStraw.)

I have made major changez to the walkthrough ... somehow I wrote the Tool partz in the wrong sequence. I have added a part which tellz the solver the proper sequence to go through the eight Blue Wormholez on the plateau near the King's Fortress ... you have to want to see it though, as it is 'way at the bottom, in the Secretz part of the walkthrough. (Gee, I wish I knew HTML, so I could have an index member, and separate members for each part, so the solver didn't have to see the entire thing as one document!) One person might want to see only the order to use the Blue Wormholez, and nothing else. With this walkthrough, that solver would see far more than s/he wanted to see.

Thanks GooRoo, I replayed the game (again) and got a perfect this time without cheating, almost. I did have to turn off the time because I was running out. But it certainly makes more sense. Good job!!

how did you do that?... is it possible?... I too was running out of time... the part with the shovelz and the spongegunerz took much time... and... game over...

Do you mean, "How did Oldone turn off the timer?" If so, the answer is 'mptimer'. Did it take too much time to clear away the SpongeGunnerz, Sword and SuicideBomber ... or too much time to release the 8-Ball to do the final task to allow you to bring the Warpstone to the King? I suggest that the solver let the 8-Ball roll past the Mound in the northwest corner, then dig up the Mound to reveal the Two-Way Arrow. Then reveal the other Two-Way Arrow by going through the Green and Blue Wormholez ... and into the fray! The 8-Ball is rather slow, so there should be enough time to clear away the opposition and flip the TWAz ... one while picking up the GooberStraw, and the other via the Red Warp. Then start sucking!

Two things that I have encountered so far.... 1. During a replay of this level...there appeared a purple grunt standing on the left hand side, just about the RW trigger! He would not let my shovelz go by, and he could not be killed either by my grunt or the 8 ball! When I destructed and started again, he was gone! How weird is that? 2. I am now at the end, of course, and as usual can see the king's fortress and the end in sight... the walkthrough I am using is the first one, so maybe this problem has been corrected (?) When I enter the spikey/holez area I have about 20 minutes of clock time left, that should be enough to accomplish everything, suck goo and get through the silver pyramid maze, right? So, I guess my question is, I am not sure what the order is here...do I dig the TWA and go through the RW Before I enter this area? I have time enough to eliminate the spongegunz, kill the swordz, go through the BW'z, and dig up the coinz and letterz and the final YTS....but I can't seem to get beyond that point.... It seems imperative that the enemy gruntz are taken care of well in advance at the fort....but when do I let the barehanded gruntz stand on the PMGS'z to let my shovelz into the fort area? Is it the 8 ball that tripz the silver pyramid tilez that trip the last YTS? I am so confused....I can do everything...but I am out of sequence I think...and the walkthrough doesn't make this final area clear enough (for me at least) It's good to be back in the game..........

How is it that a level which has (finally) taken me only 44:51 to finish (with that PERFECT! score ) actually took me weeks and weeks to figure out? This level really stumped me, at the end, even with the WT for guidance, I could not seem to get the right sequence until the very last.... WHEW! Back to The Three Musketeers...........
