Someone please, what's the secret to the rolling balls ? I can't get through there and I've been trying for many months. I keep giving up on the game. I've cheated before but I would like to do it just once. Help

Well, it's quite obvious that with 100 people reading this and only 2 replying, someone else is looking for the secret too. So, here it is. There isn't one. It's all in the timing and it's very, very tight. You have to anticipate those balls. But I did do it (finally). If I can do it, anyone can. It just takes perserverance, and a lot of yelling and stamping of feet.

I used to have a full head of hair ... until "8 Ball, Corner Pocket" ... which I still have not solved with a "PERFECT!". Getting through the initial Rolling 8 Ballz section (getting all of the Switchez activated) is what keepz me from re-trying it. I am not the least bit fond of random action sub-puzzlez ... and (as far as I can tell) this is the most random action Gruntz puzzle in existence.

Boy, you know it. I did manage to finish, but not with a perfect. I can't get the coin in the pool no matter how many times I jump on it with the toobz. And the coin at the end of the toggling-chip bridge is possible I'm sure, but I don't know how. I can get to within one chip and then I die. I hate to think what would happen if I got the coin, which is on a crumbling chip. How would I get back? I finally decided that one wasn't worth it. I apparently missed one more coin, but I don't know where. On the good side, I did get all the secrets. Well, at least I got out of the starting gate and finished without cheating. IdleAl, a walkthrough on this one would extremely helpful. So would slowing things down by a fraction of a second, but I'm sure that's out of the question. So aside from all the random action, it was a pretty good level.

You're going to have to talk to GooRoo about a walkthrough on this level. I never was able to finish it.

I filled in the 'template' for this CL, with the comment about solving time ("I don't know ... I haven't finished it!"), so I am of no help, myself!

Hum, maybe I'll try my hand at a walkthrough. I do know how to solve it, I just can't do certain things. But I could tell someone else to do them, just not how to do them. Let me think about it.

I am now down to the last few levelz to solve, and I sure would like to get a Perfect! on all of them, but there are some I just have to settle for solving, period.
This is one of them, so I thank you in advance, oldone, for helping me get through it....
Since you could not get that coin in the water, and since I have tried about 30 timez and still can't get it, I will let that one ride for now...
How do I get to the crumble bridgez in the lower right with the coinz?
What do I do with the "Join Up!" sign? I tried walking down to the purple grunt near the timer switch but I die before I get halfway there....
What do I do with the extra gauntletz?
I didn't even try to get that coin at the end of the crumble bridge....first of all I didn't find the switch for the first step, and like you, wondered what would happen when I got the coin and the tile crumbled beneath me...
And, last but not least, the timer switch is backwardz at the fort? If I cross the bridge, to get the megaphone, I am stuck there...
This is the weirdest level I have found so far...absolutely no clue...but then, it took me many many tries just to get through the first section and I was always stumped at how to proceed from that point...so a walkthrough, even in the simplest form, would be very helpful...perhaps someone, someday, will get the PERFECT! and let us know how to do it too...

OK, I'll do it, but give me a couple of weeks. And if GooRoo could let me know how to get it to him, I'd appreciate it.
And WalkingBear, it does seem wierd and backward, but it isn't. You just have to go at it from a little different perspective.
(I amend my timetable. I can do more quickly than that, a couple of days at most.)

At the top of this page, oldone, you will see several buttons. If you click on the one labeled "Members" it will bring you to a list of all the Gruntz Forum Members. You will find GooRoo on page 3, about half way down, and if you click on his name, you will see a little more about him, as well as a link to "Send this member a private message". There you can fill in your WT and send it to him, or copy his email address down, and send him an email on your own, with a word attachment for your WT. I'll be leaving for a few days this week, but look forward to seeing a WT link in the original post for this level. Good Luck and Thank You!

[img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[] GooRoo, I'm just curious to know what happened with the walkthrough that I wrote. Was it wrong? I've been wondering what you thought as it was my first one. I won't feel bad if it was not so hot, but like I said, I'm just curious.

I have been rather busy in areas other than this Forum (and Gruntz ), so have not played through the CLz for which I have recently received walkthroughs. I may have time on Tuesday (today ) for Gruntz ... if not, my next chance will be Thursday afternoon.

Although I cannot speak for other Gruntzerz...I do believe they will all agree that we appreciate all the help and guidance you so generously give. We know you really do have a life outside of Gruntz, and we are grateful for all of your insight and infinite wisdom, when it comez to Gruntzland! Many Many Thanks, from all of your loyal Grunt fanz out here is cyber space!

Any chance that the WT is ready yet? I'm ready to tackle that first 8ball maze again (gasp)!

My wife has me working on her "to do" ("Honey, do" ) list today, so it will be much later tonight before I am able to spend any real time on catching up on this Forum's "to do" list. There are at least three walkthroughs (maybe more) that I have to link in. But I can tell that Mary Lou is already chomping at the bit for me to get back to work. (Now if I can only overcome this CRS disease, so that I actually work on the things I know need doing when I return on-line. )
