It frequently is frustrating. That is one reason why I complain about CLz with back-to-back tight timing puzzlez without a 'breather' in between. At my age, I can no longer go through 5 minutez of three or four tight timing puzzlez successfully ... I need an opportunity to do a SAVE after completing each one. Teenagerz still have the impression that they are immortal, and the skillz they have today, they will have for the rest of their (unimaginably long) livez. So they try to design the most difficult puzzlez possible, to thwart other teenagerz ... and frustrate the daylightz out of us "senior citizenz". The strange thing is that I have yet to see a CL with such puzzlez . I know that some CL'z contains short segmentz where the timing is extremely tight, but I have never seen a puzzle in any CL that have as much as a minutes puzzling without a safe spot (except "silver" puzzlez). Actually, I would hate such a puzzle even as much as the older gruntzerz - given that it is nigh impossible to keep clicking precisely and rapidly for more than half a minute. Personally I would never attempt a CL with less than four available save slotz, as many CL'z are designed to confuse the solver. I would try to find a way of clearing at least one more save slot if I were you.

So, now I've tried it. I can say that the frustrating tag is not required - it is not THAT hard to do the double sponge trick (Its a bit tricky, but grouping your gruntz helps a lot if you are a slow clicker). I did find that the CL as a whole was quite hard (and very enjoyable). Figuring out exactly what to to and when to do it easily puts this in the VERY HARD category. Enough of the seriousness - Fantastic CL SwordGrunt , I must say that it is one of the best I have ever played. I'm impressed Oh yeah, and PERFECT in 33:39

Every time there is a CL, that is deemed frustrating (other that my own) I tend to get really exited. Partly because I love the challenge, partly because of envy . I have not tried this CL yet, but when I do, I will give my opinion on its difficulty. (usually listening to the designer lowerz the difficulty a lot)

Just to prevent this CL from being forgotten. Seriously, have nobody even tried this CL yet?

Quite a inventive strategy to get to that hole (it won't work, but it sure is inventive), but what if there was another way to get to it... Try to reach it from the other side

There is something you should NOT do - don't get the warpstone. Then you may start playing this CL.

When SwordGrunt BETA-tested this CL, he had problems with this area too. (Copied from my reply):

Well well well - You finally joined the forum. I hope you will have a great time here, playing and designing levelz. At least it should give you the motivation to finish that CL you have been working on. Welcome to the forum bro... (PS: SpaceGoo, have you seen the rating on my latest CL )

After taking a break from designing, I'm back. Continuing my line of frustrating CL'z. A few words about the CL: Yes, its frustrating, but as I have promised before, there isn't really any supertight timing parts. You may need a calculator to solve it though It is made of 7 big areas this time, with one big puzzle to solve in each of them. To make this CL look good, I had to scale it up, and this means that it is the maximum size of 120x120. The actual size is however only 3/4 of that, so it won't be THAT big.

This CL isn't frustrating. The part with the 3 timebomberz and the switchez are easy. Each timebomber can only see 2 tilez away. Kill the first timebomber (he is of no use, and he can be a real pain if you don't ), use toyboxez to move the Beachballz around and keep out of sight most of the time, and there should be no trouble. I would rate this hard, or maybe even medium. The only trouble is that I can't find the last coin.

You should never say never... Actually I know how to make a game engine for a game like gruntz. What i don't know is how to implement the needed graphicz. What I would like to see is the backpack tool, so that you may collect more than one tool, but only use one at a time. (to balance this, it should take some time for the grunt to change toolz)

Strange... I have never experienced any problems with IE7... But I do use FF2 most of the time. Perhaps you should go to Microsoftz homepage to download it once again. If something went wrong during the installation, this would explain your problems. If that doesn't work, use Firefox, Opera or some other browser.

How fast are the ballz going? and how long time have the CL been running at this point? I have seen this kind of sync trouble many timez, and usually, the faster the object is moving/toggling, the more sensitive it is to the tiny flaws there are in the game engine. I don't know how much the speed of objectz can vary, but it may be up to 0.05 ms per toggle/move (more likely it is below 0.01 ms per toggle/move). For an object moving at speed 100, this means that after three minutes it could have skipped or missed a tile. An object moving at speed 1000 would be 5 hours getting the same effect, where as an object moving at 10, would get it after 2 seconds. So the faster the object and the longer the wait, the more of an impact the tiny flaws in the game engine will have. That means that if you want synced RR'z geyserz or other objectz, you should place them in the start of the CL, or avoid high speeds.

Since this CL have been waiting for the release for more than a month now, I decided to play it again to get that much needed statz page. After another 3 hours of play, with my brain working overtime to remember the puzzlez , I managed to get it . Hopefully it can be released now, so that I can get started on Zone 3.
