Alpha testing completed. I do not have the statz screen image, as the final correction to be made was in the ending (I don't want to spend another 3 hours on the perfect right now ), but i do know that it should be possible to get the perfect in its current state. SwordGrunt: if you feel up to it, you can pm me your email... But beware that it is rated frustrating I might just say that it do have tight timing at some points, but the timing is eased by the fact that you are guided to clicking at the right time by your surroundingz (not like karaoke bar, where the surroundingz made you click at the wrong time).

I might give some spoilerz though The way the areaz are arranged in this CL are: 1__2_34_567__8Some of the areaz i am really proud of - like area 4 and 5, and i hope that you will enjoy playing them as much as i enjoyed creating them.

Yes I am doing them in reverse order... The same goes for the number of areas - Zone1 had 9, Zone2 will have 8 ect.

Allow me to quote: As I wrote to Zone 1 - I have stopped making those nearly impossible puzzlez, now its intense thinking and not intense clicking that is needed. Frustrating is referring to the level of thinking and strategy that is needed - something that experienced gruntzerz (like yourselvez) are good at

Yes, you DID read Zone2. It is the logical followup on Zone1, with all the characteristics it had. this time it is 8 great puzzlez, each meant to be innovative in their own way. As Zone1 this CL is rated frustrating Hope you will enjoy

Well I just spent some time checking for my CL'z, and "TheWarpedLabyrinth" is nowhere to be found...
Also "Border Post" is missing in the difficulty index - but so are many other CL'z, so I guess that this index has low priority right now?

How about the time it takes for a grunt with toobz to enter/exit the water - that would be nice to know as well. Also I just noticed that a spring grunt with SS will move as fast as a running bomb grunt if he is jumping over spikez or holez (that gives me an idea )

Immediately (or at least before you send it to Gooroo), actually you may post about a level as soon as you like, even before it is finished.

Yes, you can send it too Gooroo (click on the name to see e-mail). Then you should post about it under the topic "beta custom levels".

Why not just wait with the help boxez. Make the SL'z first, and THEN add the proper !-notez. That way, no designer have to worry about what have and haven't been introduced. Later on (when all the first X levelz are ready), we can examine the levels to see where the help boxez will fit in.

Here is a suggestion: level | Coins | Size | number of puzzlez | difficulty | Status | 1.1 | 4 | 60X60? | 5 | Very Easy | Not made | 1.2 | 6 | 60X60? | 6 | Very Easy | Beta testing | 1.3 | 8 | 60X60? | 8 | Easy | Being designed by [Designer] | 1.4 | 10 | 60X60? | 8 | Easy | Ready for use |
Why not make a complete table of levels to be made, what they should contain and their status, so that every designer engaged can make the level fit perfectly to the place in the story. Some of the levels could be modified CL'z, but I agree that it is better to make new levelz for this project.

Here is a few more demands: 1: No odd graphics (stairs in the middle of nowhere, switchez placed in water or hazard without a proper "island") 2: Two secretz, a warp and a switch. (that is how the game was intended) 3: proper !-notez (this will be tricky) - if they are meant to be played like standard levelz. This means that most CL'z need to be modified (at least with !-notez), to be used, but i really think that these are the requirements to pass. I think that the last level (level 32) should be made especially for this project. Why not make it as common CL, for all the designerz Edit: Sorry forgot to say: I think that my Border Post will do well as level 30 As to other levels i don't know. Many CL'z are made as experimentz, and are not usable as standard levelz. Some of Swordgruntz and Alexandgruntz CL'z might be good choicez for the middle to high graphic setz, whereas Gaby'z CL'z mostly contain odd graphicz, and can't be used here. We could also make some training levelz as well.

The way I was thinking was:
Puzzle (what am I supposed to do) Strategy (how am I supposed to do it) Timing (when am I supposed to do it) Hide and Seek (Where is the thing to do it (mostly secrets))
But a patience stat would be nice too (the others are nearly the same, with different names)

I am not posting this because i think there is anything wrong with the old rating system. From Very Easy to Frustrating, gives a good impression to what you may expect, or does it? Zone1 and Karaoke Bar are my two hardest CL'z, they are both rated frustrating, but apart from that they are very different - Karaoke Bar focuses on tight timing, fancy footwork and quick reactions. Zone1 is more based on actual puzzling, with puzzlez that apply to thinking rather than clicking. Still the rating is the same, and who can disagree? they are both in that league of difficulty. Other CL'z within the different categories also have the same problems. I propose that the rating system also includes the type of puzzle - is it mostly timed, puzzle, strategy or hide and seek (these are the categories that I could come up with) You can make many rating systems on that, and give a picture of what a CL or even a specific sub puzzle is like. How such a system will work is more of a challenge. It should be easy for designers to estimate, but also easy to read. A possibility is to give all CL'z 10 points to distribute among the categories: EX: puzzle - 2, strategy - 4, timed - 3, hide and seek - 1, total: hard. Another possibility is to simply say what the main type of puzzle is. Is it puzzle, timed, timed-strategy or balanced? A third possibility - well, go think of one. Doing this will hopefully make it easier for gruntzerz to find CL'z that they will enjoy. Please feel free to comment and discuss.

While reading this I began thinking of possible uses of this grunt... He could be used with welders to block the path, unless you have a toy. Or making you stop in a bad position. You will not be stopped by this type of grunt. Unlike toyerz, these guyz hit without waiting for you to read the scroll. If you do want to stop a grunt someplace bad, use a toyer with a beach ball. I know - but i meant stop you in the path of a RB, the possibility of this grunt type is that he wont follow you after he dilivered the scroll and hit , and he is not stopping you for a long time like a toyer (but probably longer than a normal hit). The other thing i mentioned was the possibility of giving this grunt a welder, making him a death trap - unless you give him a toy. Then you may kill him ordinary.
