Nothing worth discussing in detail. Something very unpleasant happened that was unrelated to the forum or Gruntz, and let's leave it at that. Alright fair enough.

The main reason I decided to play the game again is so I can do a let's play of it, which I am working on right now. But I want to know how to quick save, does anyone know how to do that in the game? Thank you.

Next question: Have you played it yourself in its current form? Do you object to its existence?I don't really care, you can do what you want, I don't really play custom levels anymore, maybe I'll get back to it one day, but I am gonna get back to playing the main game, thanks for answering my question. And no new custom levels will be made by me, I'm retired when it comes to making custom levels.

Hold on there has to be some kind of a mistake. I didn't even play Gruntz anymore when this level was supposedly released. How is it possible that a new level was released by me if I wasn't even playing the game anymore by that point?

Yeah I decided to play the game again, I will be doing it again in a few days.
However, I will not be returning to making levels in the game anymore, I am completely retired from that.
But I am curious to know what has happened in this community since I left? I probably won't post here much, but I am here to see what's been happening.

There is also another problem, how can I play the game without torrenting it?
I mean I am against torrenting video games I really am. But the problem is my new computer does not have a CD drive, so I don't think I have a choice but to torrent it. Is there any other way?
The video game library on my Windows 10 computer doesn't have it for sale.

I now have Windows 10 and the game is so slow that it's unplayable. I tried changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service 2) and that didn't work. Can someone help me out?
And for those of you wondering, yes I am returning to Gruntz, probably by March. I want to be able to play the game properly before I officially return to playing the game.

I rarely browse through these forums since I don't play Gruntz anymore, but when I saw this thread I had to post.
I am so sorry about that, hope she'll pull through. :-(

Ok, week is up, so I'm now logging out forever, unless my some chance I will be interested in Gruntz again, but since there is no redeemable quality of Gruntz I can think of at the moment it would probably take years to interested in the game if at all.
Farewell.

It is sad that you do not like it any more. But it is a game after all, why should you spend time with a game if you do not like it? That would be a waste of your time. What games one likes and doesn't like is not final. It changes over time. So, perhaps one day, you will like it again. Thank you, this community has been a lot of fun when I did play the game and I really mean that.

I know I have made threads saying I'm leaving and come back. But I'm afraid that this time I'm done for good. Since I got bored of Gruntz and don't even like the game anymore.
The game has been fun for me but it isn't fun anymore. The reasons I hate it is because there is a very limited amount of tools and other items (even hazards), the enemies for the most part can do the same the player can and they just act differently, I don't like how you can easily dodge long-ranged weapons and I find the game very boring. I'm done with the game for good. There is a chance I might return one day, but it's extremely unlikely.
Lastly I would like to thank Zuu and GooRoo for everything they have done for me in this community over the years.
Goodbye. I will come back here to see replies for a week or so. But after that I'm likely not gonna log in again since I'm done with the game.

I remember you, it's nice to see you drop by.
I play Gruntz on my Windows 7 computer and it works fine.
Good luck with your goals in life, man.

It's nice to see you, man. The game you created is fantastic. It's one of my favorite video games of all time. That's why I love being part of this wonderful community.
The game is still relevant 17 years later, and let me tell you it deserves it since it's really that good.

Now I realize what I did wrong, that rolling rock was needed in order to kill the gauntlets grunt. Darn it.
Since I saved after I got rid of it I have to start all over on the level again. Thanks for the help.

I'm stuck at this part: No matter what I do, the gauntlets grunt will break all the rocks and kill my boxers grunt. Breaking all the rocks is a good thing, he is supposed to. But he isn't supposed to kill the boxers grunt, can someone help me out?

Why don't you test it out yourself to see if it works? That's an idea.
