"Mmmm...this is gonna be tough." I can barely get out of the starting blocks on this one. I have figured out how to get the megaphone for the bomb and get my barehand out with full health, but beyond that I am somewhat stumped. I assume that my next step is to get to the Green Toggle Switch (GTS) that is guarded by the two rolling rockz. The closest I can get is a suicide bomb run, but my grunt blows up at the rockz before hitting the switch. "Somebody please send me a cheat code so I can warp past this section!"

Got home today and went back at it. Had to think outside the box to get by the silver pyramids(duh!). Got a perfect after going back several times to various save points. Great level for a first time, GoldenGrunt !!! Lots of deception and tight timing. FriedGruntz you may want to go back a bit and have your shovel grunt come out with full health and your barehanded grunt with very little.

I think Fried is at the part I was at, which is too tight timing to be good in a level. Realize that many gruntzers don't want to spend 15 minutes perfecting a part, so I usually give "extra" time like you did with the R warp. I have learned this recently and am adapting to it.
I assume it's just another bomber run with the correct timing.

OK, got a perfect. I didn't know about that "feature" in the game. (At one point, the object guard followed my warpstone grunt away!) It's a good level Pretty tough. My favorite part was getting the P, that took me a bit to figure out I would advise to make less tight timing, especially in the bomb part (assuming I did it right)

Everyone is 'way ahead of me on this one! I think my years are beginning to show, as I have been unable to do a couple of the tight timing sub-puzzlez: - The Coin near the first Green Toggle Switch (I gave up)
- The Red Warp (closes before I can get to it)
- I have built a Gauntlet-breaker Brick once before the enemy Gauntletz Grunt stepped onto the foundation Tile. The Bricklayer Grunt is no match for the (now) Bare-handed Grunt ... recovery time to fight is too long, and his health was too low.
That's where I am stuck, right now. Can't fight (successfully); can't run (or hide);can't negotiate from the Red Warp trigger to the Red Warp. If I ever manage to do either of the two joined puzzles, I doubt that I could do both.

There was a golfz retail level where you had to step diagonally down in the direction the ball is moving. (So the ball is "ahead" of you when you step down.) This was real helpful for me.
I never had problems with the red warp, none at all, so I can't help you there.
Also, are you giving your "tools most used later" to the gruntz with the most health?
PS: (To GoldenGrunt and others) Do you mind if I give hints like this, or should they be more "foggy"?

I used the 'diagonal follow the Ball' trick almost exclusively in my tries, but kept getting squished between RR#1 and RR#2. I even tried the 'jump on the Arrow' trick ... squoooosh! The criss-crossing RRz have done me in on every attempt so far for the Red Warp. And whenever there is a choice, I always give a Tool/Toy to the Grunt most likely to need it, and usually to the Grunt with the best health status. I may have to go back to the Boxing Glovez/Rock-Thrower Gruntz area, to see if I can improve ... again. The problem is, the GooberStraw Grunt has to take too much punishment from the Boxing Glovez Grunt, in order to go for the knock-out.

FriedGruntz you may want to go back a bit and have your shovel grunt come out with full health and your barehanded grunt with very little. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. When my gruntz first warp in, I have one pick up the shovel and have him head upstairs to where the three holez are. I have him fill in one hole, which causes the enemy shovel to start digging it back out. While he's preoccupied with that, I have my Shovel fill in a second hole and as soon as it's filled in, have Shovel'z barehanded partner scoot through and pick up the megaphone. As long as my Barehand doesn't get too close, the DisGruntled Shovel ignores him and fills in holez as long as there are holez to dig out. In that manner, I am able to get in and out of there with neither my Shovel nor my Barehand taking any damage.

Ah! But you need that Shovel Gruntz' Goo, in order to make a new Grunt for yourself. I did nearly the same thing ... sent Barehanded up first at one side of the three Holez, then Shovel to fill in the Hole immediately in front of BH. Selected BH to run across while the enemy SG was filling it in, and let 'im have a knuckle sandwich. Then got my SG into the fray, using Hit & Run tactics, until there was a satisfactory puddle of Goo quivering on the plateau. Then BH used the MegaPhone, and (since he was in the red already) get the Bomb.

Here i have the same problems
The Coin near the first Green Toggle Switch I have built a Gauntlet-breaker Brick once before the enemy Gauntletz Grunt stepped onto the foundation Tile. The Bricklayer Grunt is no match for the (now) blue Bare-handed Grunt ... recovery time to fight is too long, and his health was too low. Do i need the coin near the green switch take later ? and do i need more health for the Gauntlet-breaker Brick and then can kill the blue enemy Gauntletz

I see that some of you are having problems with the level, heh.
For the coin near the green toggle switch, you simply wait untill the top RR is rolling onto the arrow pointing left and the bottom RR is rolling onto the arrow pointing right and then you go down to the bottom RR's line and quickly move diagonaly to the coin.
When you reach the boxing gloves gruntz you should have almost full health (Only lose a little because of the spongegun). You suicide the two gruntz, suck them and create new grunt that presses the 1-switch. Now you give the gauntletz to the gooberstraw grunt and the bricklaying toolz to the bare-handed grunt that you just free.
For the blue gauntletz grunt it really helps to get on the arrow pointing down each time he is about to hit you, it saves alot of health.
Oh and for the silver pyramid part, think a little! Its much easier then it looks.

GooRoo and Yourin, perhaps you need to go back and make another decision about who gets the gauntletz and who should get the bricklayer tools. I had a bricklayer gruntz with full health and used the arrow as GoldenGrunt stated before. The red warp can be accessed by watching the timing on the rolling stone closely, there is a definate time to move and a time not to.Try stepping in front of the stone.

Perhaps I need to scan ahead in the puzzle-after-puzzle stream to see if that GooberStraw truly has any value after creating that first Grunt. Expect The Unexpected, indeed!

Remember to give your important tools like the brick layer tools to gruntz high on health and give tools (like gauntletz) that require losing a grunt to gruntz with less health.
Even if there was more goo, there was only one grunt oven as far as I saw, so having more than one wouldn't really be helpful.

Yourin, it is often easier to understand you, than it is to understand the kids from the USA! But if you ever have a difficult time expressing yourself in English, try this: - Open up a NotePad file
- Enter what you want to say in your native language
- Go on-line to www.babelfish.altavista.com
- Select your language as the source language
- Select english as the object language
- Paste your text into the edit box
- Copy the translation into NotePad.
- Post the translation on the Forum
I have been receiving a lot of foreign language e-mails (junk mail, for the most part), some of which that I have translated into English using the method above. It makes a good learning tool for refreshing the languages I have learned a little bit of, but don't have the vocabulary to understand completely ... such as German (Deutsch) and Spanish (Espanol). Edit: the link to the translation facility changed to a free site, suitable for use in translating a typical post.

Yourin, if you are using BabelFish, you should try this: I think that your language is NL... - Type in a text and translate it into English
- Translate it into an other language
- Translate it into English again
- do that until you have translated it in every language in the tool
- Translate it into NL again... and read it!
For example, this Text:I have been receiving a lot of foreign language e-mails (junk mail, for the most part), some of which that I have translated into English using the method above.
