At least I now know one thing that is working properly under ProBoards Version 4 ... the links still work from the indices to the various Custom Level threadz! I was afraid that 'unsticky'ing the Custom Levelz would result in the index entries being unable to 'find' the thread when it getz moved to the top of the list. (Whew!)

Seems everyone is way ahead of me....way too busy to play right now...but it's a sleepless night (overtired) so why not?
I am stuck with gauntletz and bricklaying grunt...there is an exploding brick and a gauntlet breaking brick in the resourcez. I have never used one of those before...until now. But, WHERE do I use them? I can see something hiding behind a tree to the north....so I know I need gauntletz to go up there...not sure what to do here....can someone help? Is there a walkthrough yet?

use the explosive brick at the corner where it's most effective and the gauntletz breaking brick use to break the gauntlez of the enemy so he'll be BH

I used the exploding brick in the corner...got through that part ok....now, I walk my bricklayer down, release the RR and let it go past me so it breakz in the end...then I walk down....as soon as I get the coin and stand in front of the brown brick, the blue gauntletz comez up and breakz it and before I have a chance to do anything, he killz me! If I use the gauntlet-breaking brick there, he breakz it, loses his gauntletz and then we're all stuck where we are!!!
I am so confused.........must be the heat here in Florida frying my brain cells!

as the enemy looses his gauntletz bricklayer hits and runs to the arrowz...

My bricklayer's health is already in the red.....do I use the arrow to squish the gauntletz? and then the barehanded? Yikes! Where's some zap cola when you need it?

I am still frazzled at the area with the bricklayer grunt....I can't seem to figure this one out...
I can't get a chance to lay my gauntlet breaking brick...before I get killed....I can't get around the gauntlet grunt or do anything before he lambastes(sp) me!
If I let him break the one brown brick first....I don't have time to lay the red one....

Has anyone managed to complete this CL with a " PERFECT!" score, and remembered to do a screen grab of their " Statz Page"? I just discovered that I do not have a JPEG for this CL, and it will take me quite a while to get to the end so I can do a 'grab' of my own. Edit: I am writing a  for this CL as I am solving it for the " Statz Page" screen grab. (That's why the first solving time I link to will be very sloooooooow.) I am including imagez in the trickiest areaz supporting the text of the walkthrough. (Taking those screen printz usually meanz I fail in the first attempt (and I usually fail several timez anyway!) at each of these tricky areaz.  ) Chancez are that I will not make another post into this thread until I have completed the CL with a " PERFECT!" score, and linked in the walkthrough within the original post. |

great... glad I could help... ... still I'm really curious what was the designers' idea about solving the SP... aren't you ? ... I found a solution to the three  , three  sub-puzzle that I am providing in the walkthrough I am writing for this CL (along with my task of providing a screen shot of the final Statz Page). One comment was "think outside the box", which is exactly what I did. I am stuck at the first   sub-puzzle right now. Even with gaby's commentary on how she solved it, I have not been successful.  I guess there is a particular spot to place my Gruntz that I have not fallen across ... yet. |

I have stood in the Object Guard's path, but he (almost!) alwayz standz somewhere other than on the , and rarely stayz on it long enough for me to freeze him. (When he hitz me, he interruptz the freeze spell.  ) There must be one particular spot to stand in order to successfully block the Object Guard so that he standz on the Switch in order to hit me! (But I haven't found that ideal spot.  ) Edit: I finally found a place (and was lucky, too) where I could block one of the Object Guardz and then freeze him on the ! I have modified the walkthrough with more detailed instructionz for the "two chamber" sub-puzzle. Now I need to find where the fifth Coin was located (I found it, because I achieved a " PERFECT!" score) that was not recorded. Then I only need to correct minor thingz, such as the "About" component so that it actually appliez to "Expect The Unexpected" rather than to "Trick Or Treat" (its 'clone' donor), and similar errorz. I consider it good enough to be called a BETA walkthrough now. |
