Solving Notes: After the orange pyramid part, there is no need to beat the rock going anywhere later in the level, but there may still be timing based things you need to do to insure the rock's survival. Also note that the yellow hold switch to the right of the green hold switch controls a two-way arrow in the next area as well.

Stuck at the conversion power-up with the 3 green gruntz. Whether I go for the yellow switch or the power-up, I don't see any way of saving the rock. It either falls through the hole or breaks on the red pyramid. Any help?

Definitely go for the Conversion Power-up first. Then things get touchy ... very tight timing to handle two Gruntz; one for the Red Toggle Switch; the other to get to the Yellow Toggle Switch before the Rolling 8-Ball reaches the (wrong way) two-way Arrow.

I'm missing something somewhere then. I don't see any way to get the conversion power-up before stepping on the first yellow switch to keep the rock from falling into the void .. and if I step on the yellow switch first, I can't get the conversion power-up.

The rock should head to the left when it goes up those staircases. You should hold the yellow HOLD switch (yes, the same one you used to let the rolling ball free by the black pyramids) so it does go to the left. Then it will be held there on the right arrow and the two way arrow while you do other stuff. When your grunt gets to the conversion area, you will get three gruntz. This wasn't supposed to be hard yet!

Actually I wouldn't normally have done that, but due to a mistake I made in the level, I figured that was the easiest way to fix it. I think I will put that in the notes, because it really isn't supposed to be hard at all. I would have said that, but there are many such things that I would need to say that are easily done.

I am not too skilled with the casino graphics set so I appreciate your compliments. My favorite The Rock was probably Guenter's The Rock III, which was one of my overall favorite levels.

Where have I seen using springz for more than one purpose before? Maybe... in another level of mine? GooRoo may correct me if I am wrong, but I think there is only one coin in that secret, so you likely forgot the coin in another location. GooRoo Edit: There is only one Coin in the Secretz area ... look for the other in breakable Objectz and Holez ... and one right out in the open in the middle of some Spikez.

Can't figure out how to get to those 2 dies that are in the area with the rolling 8-balls and holes in the floor. Got almost to the end of the level though. The bombz grunt near the king is a problem too. That's all I've run into.. so far. Enjoying the level at any rate Gamer.

oh did not see that that hold switch was control that arrow upstairs. i need a spring to get to the 2 dice in the rollingballs ? do i give then the gauntlezt at the spring guntz when he jump to the 2 dice ? But how do i take the springs en take a shovel when i have no gauntlezt. there are timebomz but need 3 gruntz to get over to take them ? thanks

When is the right time to take the Gauntletz from the Resourcez? No, you only need one Grunt to get the TimeBombz. Have you solved "Bombz Away!" yet? If so, think of some of the things that Gamer did in that Custom Level, and try the same techniques in "The Rock V".

You do need three gruntz to get the timebombz, but that shouldn't be a problem. The Gauntlet grunt will get back fine, and your other two grunts should be there as well. Edit: I believe that while the solver has three Gruntz, only one needs to be directly involved in the process of getting those TimeBombz. Well, two, if you count all of the Gruntz on the map.

how do i get the springz. When i use the gauntlezt and take the springz i can get to the 2 dice in the rolling balls , but have nothing to break them ? so i have not to use the gauntlezt . but when i dont use them i can't get the springz. I think i need the time bomz but can''t take them ? I did look for a red warp in that place and take me to the 2 Dice, but no found 1

Go back and carefully re-read my last post. Pay special attention to the last paragraph. (I hope you have already played, and solved, Gamer's "Bombz Away!" ... the clue will make much more sense if you have. )
