I don't think you can't participate any more, just that we should try to submit a word that follows the rules. If you all want to start over, one addition could be to come up with less obvious definitions, or even ones that are hard instead of obvious ones. By the way, here's how I thought the game proceded so far: wave wove dove dote mote mite miter mater water wafer safer saner sane would be merely changing saner to sane.

I think that's merely changing the tense of the word. Is there another change possible?

h _ _ _To set right; repair
I think you shouldn't pick the hardest definition, but rather the one of a medium difficulty. For example, I think IdleAl's definition made me think for a moment, but it wasn't super hard to figure out.
We would have to decide if this was more like a scavenger hunt for the definition, or more of a chain of words.

_ _ _ r "To listen to attentively" Did you define the word using the word? Seems like that shouldn't happen, so I don't know that I got the right word. If I didn't just skip by me and I will delete this later.

- _ _ _ _
Past tense and past participle of "To put or set down"
(Note: I am adding - as a "deleted letter" part. The next word can just be 4 blanks. I changed this to - from | since the | looks like an I)
I think the game should end when someone repeats, if it's far enough along, it's always good to start new along the way.

Yes, we have discussed there will be no more rungs after designer, so stop trying to quantify this. I think the more time and thought you put into a level it will be better, but this should be something you do anyway and not because you are trying to obtain some more rank.

Bombz Away probably took me around 125 to 150 hours to complete; it was pretty long and I had different ideas on what to do where on a few points. I think that was my longest level to make, with Decoy Ahoy! being probably about 100 hours; I still had a few items I wanted to do myself (like my first spring maze! ) and so it was less dense. Move off the island was my shortest level; it took me about an hour to create (in one sitting; the level editor wasn't closed until it was finished!

I think it would be better just as an excercise to see how long we can keep it going, rather than a competition.

Rather than adding a certain letter, I don't want to make GooRoo mad since he has strict forum rules, so I will add an e instead to make site, "The place where a structure or group of structures was, is, or is to be located"

I think we should start a new game with the idea of "Change one letter each time". where the rules are:
You can add, subtract, or change letters, as long as you form a word, and :
1) you don't form a word with less than 3 letters or more than 5 letters, 2) a) form a 3-letter word or b) a word with more than one consonant and more than one vowel was made directly previous to your word or c) you make a word with more than one consonant and more than one vowel 3) You must change the root of a word if you are adding or deleting a letter. 4) You may not change the same letter that was changed in the direct previous word. 5) There must be at least two entries before you may play again, Indicate your change in color, Cannot return to a previous word in the chain, Include a dictionary definition.

I have a word that works (A sieve with fine meshes) but it's not an everyday-use word, and I can't play again. Can I whisper my word to someone else to say?

I was under the impression you had to change a different letter each time, is that not the case with this game?

Blame changes two letters, the a and m.
I will continue on with bile.
