An interesting fact about the Earth orbiting around the Sun is that it moves slower during summer and faster during winter. This is why February is two days shorter and July is one day longer. A year is actually 365 days and 6 hours, so every four years an additional day is added to February to make up for the 24 hours lost. Today is February 29th, 2024. It still interests me like how it did when I was a little kid.
When I worked as a mainframe computer programmer for an insurance company, I wrote a module that would provide accurate dating for time periods back to the inception of the Gregorian calendar out to (ridiculous, I know) the year 37,000 ... which is NOT a leap year. The reason that the (northern) summer is longer than its winter is because the Earth is moving further away from the sun, sweeping out a much larger arc than in (northern) winter when it is closest to the sun. Earth's orbit is NOT a circle, but an ellipse with its narrowest part closer to the sun, and its wider part well out toward Mars and the outer planets. My memory may be failing me, but I believe the 'year' is something like 365.2426 days; a year xx00 is NOT a leap year unless xx is evenly divisible by 4 (2000 = leap year; 2100 /= leap year.

Does anyone remember how me and Gamer worked on this level together? Because I'm stumped, and I have no idea what his discord or skype is or if he even has one. But I'm not sending him a friend invite out of the blue since that would be rude. Can anyone help? Gamer moved on to other things a few years ago (he was last here is available in the member information). He was the one who gave me the incentive to endeavor to provide more graphical variety in my maps.

Sorry, I wouldn't have guessed that you can do that at all in the first place. Does it have to be Google Drive? I play 15 dollars a month for mine, I store all sorts of files there it has so much space I will never be 1/4 way done. Especially since I delete files I don't use anymore constantly. The last part is what I have a problem with: deletion of files ... or accounts (which deletes EVERYTHING!), more prevalent in 'free' web storage.
BTW, my monthly charge is now $13.99 for storage, with domain renewal being the cost which most hits my pocketbook once a year in August.

You should be able to find anything using the search option on your taskbar. It is normally visible as a magnifying glass icon. Type in "cmd" to get the old command prompt. And try if pressing Win+R brings up the good old "Run" dialog. I hope Win11 hasn't removed that one. Win+r works just fine under Windows 11 (I just tried it). I rarely get beyond Ctrl+C, Ctrl+v, Ctrl+x and Ctrl+p ... they seem to be all I need for the things I frequently do.

GOD loves you ... even if you don't know Him ... yet!
It is never too late, with GOD. His timing is always perfect. When you need Him the most, He will make His presence known to you, and give you peace.

Well, Windows 11 has me at a loss. I cannot find the way to the shell, in order to test my Java programs (only one so far)! What was so easy under Windows 10 ... start/run/do something is beyond me now. There must be a way to invoke the shell, but it is well hidden (from me!) now.
Au Secour!!!

Need Assurance? Here are 5, from the New International Version (NIV) of the BIBLE:
- Assurance of Salvation
1st John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony; GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of GOD does not have life. - Assurance of Answered Prayer
John 16:24 Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. - Assurance of Victory
1st Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And GOD is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. - Assurance of Forgiveness
1st John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - Assurance of Guidance
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

If anyone asks you to pay something to get Java then that's a rip off. JDK is freely available for download from Oracle's official website and can also be automatically downloaded by some IDEs, such as IntelliJ IDEA, which I personally use to code in Java. IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is also a completely free software.
The price I mentioned was not for the disc ... but for the book that contained it (which I already have). But nowhere in the 'hits' that I took the time to scan were for the disc only ... and for free via download.

I did not receive the disc that was originally part of the textbook, so went online searching for it. Yes, it is available ... for a price ... that I do not want to pay, since I may never actually arrive at the point where I can create something useful (to me). But there is a free JDK (Java Developer's Kit) that I just downloaded, to see if it will provide the capabilities that would have existed with the companion disc. I am only in chapter 3 of 17 chapters, but already there are examples that require Java, so I hope that this will provide me with what I need to learn to use it.
Just out of curiosity, what do you use to do anything in Java?

I have run into a number of the web sites (that I have registered and paid-for software) that have let their domain expire ... and are now 'parked' with GoDaddy! But I have no access to the contents of the site (to verify my access after migration).
Have any of you Forum members run across anything like this yourselves recently?

I revisited this level to verify my old statement that it should rather be placed in the "Easy" category. The conclusion is that I still agree with my old self - the level is not challenging at all. There are no parts in it that could stop the solver for a longer while, except the digging section at the end - but that one is only going to make you fall asleep. All the enemy fights can just be skipped because there is no goober straw in the game. For how large the map is, the level is very fast to complete. Only getting the coins is a bit tricky, because it involves knowing that space tiles can sometimes be walked on (introduced in Gruntz in Space, Stage 1) and that there are no secrets in the level to take you there. It really makes you wish for a multi-component difficulty system, where such things could be directly highlighted. For that reason, and only for that reason, I'd consider an "Easy+" difficulty rating for this level. I think it's just too straightforward overall for a "Medium" or higher.
The Announcement even agrees with you "This is a tryout level". IdleAl created the original Announcement (perhaps taken from another source) which may have included the source's rating. And I never challenged the rating when I made up the indices.

Quote from Kami on Proboards Support regarding my question about anti-SPAm possibilities.
"You cannot 'disconnect' an IP, no. If the IP is banned, then while they may log as a visitor, they will only see a banned message, anywhere they click on the forum. The list will show them as a visitor, because loading the error message is still loading the forum and they are there. They just won't be able to see any content."
So, swietymiki, your observation is correct ... if banned (globally) they cannot see my message about Amazon.

Definitely the biggest impediment to solving this level is the lack of information given to the solver - lots of different objects are hidden behind trees... Look for another set of goo puddles in the northern part of the map.
Unfair! Not even a quivering edge of Goo visible to give the solver a clue that there is something there that a certain Grunt may find!
There are two Glows in places apparently of no interest at all(!) and nothing at all(!) to indicate things such as the SecretTeleporterTrigger ... or Goo Puddles. Just a nasty design.

Amazon web services customers: please be aware that due to a ridiculously high number of SPAM/SCAM/Phishing abusers of the service exist, and I am forced to ban ALL IP addresses (globally) that use Amazon. Please try again, using an unpolluted WiFi system.I am afraid they might not be able to read that message, after you banned them.
Banning does not stop them from viewing ... only prevents them from becoming members. If you click on ""Guest(s)" at the bottom of the page, it brings up a list of however many 'guests' are online at the time. Highlighting an IP address brings up a dialog box which includes a search item. Click on that and (frequently) there is a link containing the word 'blacklist', which will provide you with whether or not the IP address has been blacklisted (for whatever reason) but always with more information that includes the name of the host. I see entries for a globally banned IP (yesterday, for instance) that show up TODAY!
