Thank yoou for finding the near 'handle' that is probably the Designer. Today I will follow up, and make the Battle fully available.

What Operating System does it have? If the laptop also has Windows 10, then getting used to it shouldn't take too long. The problem is that I lost loads of information that was only stored on the computer's hard drive. Since I could not access the computer (unmountable boot drive), I could not copy what I needed to an external device. I am changing the way I operate, so that where Windows 10 wants to store something is NOT the only place I have the file(s). Microsoft's idea of how things should be organized and/or presented, is NOT my idea of the way to do things. For me, music information I want to see is running time (length), year and comments (my MP3s display the highest chart position and the date reached, and the 'B' side (and possible chart info). The Microsoft default of track #, contributing artist (part of my file names) size, etc. is of little value to me. Fortunately, I know how to change Microsoft's templates so that any music folder I have (or create) contains headings and info meaningful to me.
Documents and Pictures (the only things I had on my old computer hard drive) are now copied to an external hard drive ... and frequently to a flash drive, as well. Compilations are written to a CD-ROM (or DVD) with LightScribe labelling.
I am a bit behind on Gruntz, because I have to restore from my Gruntz Extraz DVD, which does not have all of the 2017 changes. Those I have to get from the Forum's web host, as I remember them.
My current, most urgent, problem is that this computer does not play well with my all-in-one printer, which suddenly does not realize that it can print in color, and that it is capable of printing multiple page documents on both sides of a sheet of paper without any manual intervention. Before the computer woes, a page was printed, the sheet fed back into the machine and the software 'flip'ped the even page and printed on the reverse side. Now, there is a pause, and I am expected to reload the printed sheets in a certain way, then (on the computer) tell the printer to continue. And with printing in grey scale, when the source is in living color, that process is unacceptable to me.

Computer died yesterday, and I just brought home a new computer, and just started the process of recovering as much as possible of what was lost from the "unmountable boot drive". For example, sending this stupid touchpad into oblivion, so only my mouse (not my fat wrists, etc.) selects where things go. My activity on this Forum will be very much on "the back burner" until I begin to feel comfortable with the new laptop.

I figured it out... a grunt need to step into a blue trigger many tiles ahead otherwise.IF there is no tile to step to take wingz, he just get teleported to the same place ! I think it's a 'broken' logic from the game, and the designer do not knew at that time Actually, the teleportation problem has been known for several years. I had a Quest where even Guenter was surprised to find that a wormhole does nothing if the destination is a Death Tile. And a submerged tile in water/quicksand/space/etc. (even though it may be toggled UP!) is a Death Tile. So a Designer (me, in that case) can force a certain act to take place before a Secret may be reached. Not a 'bug' at all, but an intentional limitation on how a puzzle can be made to work.

Oooooops! I missed the indication that this one was successfully tested. So now I have TWO Questz to update indices for ... hopefully before this day is over.

This bears similarities to "Rumble In The Rockz" (the Rocky Roadz battle), in reduced size. You show a date of 2013, but "Attila1992" is unknown to this Forum. Where did you find the map? And will we be permitted to offer it here? There are fewer than 10 puzzles available here which were NOT submitted by the author, and I prefer to have permissions to offer anything, if the author can be contacted.

This one is obviously different than the first submission! I have not examined it yet, so do not know if the author field has been changed from MPI or not. If it has been change, is that what you desire for your 'handle' from now on?

By Release Date, Graphics Area, Difficulty and Designer indices have now been updated. Ready for some diligent Gruntzer to discover and errors that may still exist in the links.
The overall alphabetical index (up to 27 elements) still need to be updated with the 21 (or 22) Custom Levelz released in October, 2017. That is merely a matter of adding the new CLz into the proper places, since the indices have been corrected re: the December, 2015 additions, where ProBoards software (updated shortly before) renumbered threads when they were moved (promoted) ... previously, the BETA Board thread numbers were retained, when promotions occurred.

Definitely not. Also as I mentioned earlier, objects that I put before the problem occured are still working correctly (the alien signs around the map for example). However if I edit one of these objects or add a new one, they will not work. I checked, the issue is only on this one level and EyeCandies work just fine on others. I don't know, maybe I unconsciously broke the level settings? What is in the 'Flags' section?

This download link has expired, and I was unable to fill in the lost information. Can this be re-sent to me as a PM attachment, please?

The Gruntz Level Editor works fine on my laptop, so while I cannot PLAY Gruntz here, I can check out the issue for myself, if you send me the WWD. I may even be able to 'sneaker net' it to the XP computer to test it out there.

I have corrected (I believe) all of the errors caused by renumbering the threads created in late 2015 ... affecting all 32 of the 'Standard Level' re-dos for this Forum's twelfth anniversary. As part of that process, I eliminated the two-step process of seeing an individual's Custom Level index; now clicking on an author's handle in any of the other four indices (Graphics Area, Difficulty, Date Released and Alphabetical) will take you directly to the current index of the CLz submitted and released.
Tomorrow I will tackle the 2017 releases ... all 22 of them.

I'm not mistaken, nor is it a joke, the problem persists. I'm providing a video to depict it. As you can see, I'm walking over cratez, whose logic is EyeCandy, not a BehindCandy, and yet my Grunt appears above it, while cratez should cover him. Same thing happens if I change the graphic of the decoration, for example to an Observatory. Any thoughts on this? streamable.com/dkbvfAbout the level itself... even without this problem it will not be finished in a long time. But when it does, there might be a problem with finding a Beta-Tester willing to play it. The crates are in corners, with no space behind them, so it is impossible for the Grunt to walk behind them in order to pick up anything that may be 'behind' the crates. If you had 2 or 3 high crate stacks, and at least one space behind them, the Coin (or other object) would be mostly (or completely!) hidden, but the Grunt could acquire it.

Recently I was working on a new level in the Gruntz Level Editor. Everything was fine at first but some time later I encountered a problem. There was one decoration that had a coin hidden behind it. I wanted to move the EyeCandy a bit to make it look better and then I turned on the game to test the level. What surprised me was that the coin began appearing above the decoration and it's always visible. I tried creating both logics again but the problem is not fixed, coin always appears above the decoration. I noticed it's not only a problem with placement of objects. Now every EyeCandy that I edit or add to this level acts like a BehindCandy. All Gruntz are always visible and walk on them like the decorations were just ground tiles. Maybe someone enountered a problem like this? Do you have any ideas what can be done to fix it? I really don't want to abandon this level because of a weird editor bug. The latest object editted will appear in front ... in the Gruntz Level Editor. But if the EyeCandy is just that, and not a BehindEyeCandy, the Gruntz game engine will show things as you want them to be.

Only alphabetical 'X' 'Y' and 'Z' remain to be updated; then adding in the 22 new puzzlez where they belong.

While fixing the Announcement table problems, I realized why this one was "a dropped ball". My wife had a stroke the week before, and I was dealing with the aftermath of the medical professionals treating her for it. Physical therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy. All while needing to do the shopping, cleaning and all the driving to her appointments.

The table of this announcement is broken and it still says that the level is waiting for a beta tester, this could be fixed. The table has been fixed, and the multiple bold/unbold tag sets replaced with a single set above and below the table elements.
