I finally finished it. Did not get the PERFECT though as I did not have a save to go back for the 5 coins. Thanks SwordGrunt for the awesome, enjoyable level At least someone has managed to finish it, even short of a "PERFECT!" score. If you have a screen grab of your completion results, that should be enough to release this one ... long overdue.

I find the Designer's Statz Page image to be very close to the BETA tester's result, so am inclined to call this one 'distributable' even though the WWD I have is dated August 6, 2015. If I do not receive a more current map in the next 12 hours, I will release what I have.

This WWD has a date of August, 2015. Have there been any changes since then, addressing the various problems that have been discussed here? I prefer to have the current (final?) version of the puzzle in order to distribute it.

After three hours of fighting this puzzle... Statz info: 1 Survivor, 8 Deaths (all ended up as suicide bomberz) Toolz: Boomerang, Goober Straw, Spygear, Gauntletz, Shovel, Gauntletz, Goober Straw, Gauntletz, Bomb x8 Stolen toolz don't count in statz, so I've not put them. After the second death of my computer on November 18, 2017 (the first death was on September 15, 2017 ... resurrected, briefly) I now have a new computer, and am in the process of recovering or recreating things that occurred since that first death. This is one of them. I hope to have it released today.

The Designer really wanted to get this one released, so he gave me considerable help in gathering the elements I needed to once again be able to play Gruntz, and create "View the map!" images.

There are at least 8 different methods in an on-line tutorial for doing print screen operations. None of them worked! Different combinations of "prt sc" and "fn", "alt" "ctrl" and the Windows key are described, some saving an image to the clipboard, and other saving to "pictures/screenshots/screenshot(#)". Regardless of the method, what is saved is NOT the screen (Gruntz) I want an image of, but whatever was displayed on the main screen ... and even then frequently rearranged from what the screen really looks like! When my main screen is empty ... just the desktop icons ... everything is assembled into a rectangle with the left side icons shaped like the letter L and the right side icons (4 of them, in my case) arranged in a square (they are really in a column) in the upper right-hand portion of the image. And I get nothing from the Gruntz puzzle I am wanting to snapshot.
I am on Windows 10 Home, updated to the current level, on an HP laptop 17.3" display.
If anyone has a similar system, and has a method that actually works to do screen prints, please post how you do it ... and if you have some third-party software that is used to do the job (name it).

I did the 'SneakerNet' thing, and set compatibility to XP SP3 with dgVooDoo and completed the 'Standard' Rocky Roadz Questz at 1024X768 screen resolution, and at normal speed! I see no difference in play from my original computer (XP) under Windows 10 compatibility.
Take courage, friends! Gruntz continues to have life, and I am now back to being a meaningful participant.
Now I just have to try to remember everything that I should have been doing since Windows 7 was replaced, and my ability to play Gruntz went away with it.

Interesting! On the reconstructed computer, Gruntz plays virtually undistinguishably from an old XP machine. On this computer, it is unplayable, due to choppy mouse movements, and extremely slow frame rate of ALL of the Gruntz animations. I am tempted to erase Gruntz from this computer and SneakerNet via a flash drive from the resurrected computer, and install it here. I will keep you posted on my progress (or lack thereof). It wouldn't be right to play on the old one, since I ceded it to my wife as a replacement for her desktop computer with a power-up password ... that neither of us knows. I apparently set it while she was in the convalescent center, and was interrupted and failed to record it. With case sensitivity, I could use the correct string, but with the wrong case in places. And my passwords are all long ones (minimum 16 characters with both cases, punctuation, numbers, etc.), with many ways to mis-enter the string.

Searching through various Gruntziclez Custom Levelz, I found out that the declaration table in this thread is broken. Another very old Announcement. Replaced BOLD/UNBOLD tags and removed extraneous end-table-row tag.

This one seems to have a broken table too. Fixed it by eliminating all BOLD/UNBOLD tags except for one at the beginning and one at the very end.

Oh right, I didn't change the Direction value, so it didn't work. Click on your link (here) or mine (Kitchen Slime) prepared to use the F5 (refresh) key to see the updated thread.

I have to get ready for church, so this is just a quick tutorial on Kitchen Slime.
SpeedX and SpeedY are the tile coordinates of the OPPOSITE corner of the slime's path. If you do a CalcCowID, the tile coordinates of where you placed the slime will fill these two fields; re-enter the desired opposite corner if you do a CalcCowID.
Direction '0' is the default (clockwise); Direction '1' is counterclockwise.
Speed is the time the slime takes to cover 1 tile, in milliseconds, as 900 is nine tenths of a second.
When I return from church, I will update the Editor element, then update copyrights and (when finished) upload everything to the web host.

Kitchen Slime. While this page is shorter than I would want it to be, if one were to click on the link "EDIT OBJECTS Dialog Box" more is provided, including a "Next" link. I followed the links, but the information about direction (clockwise/counterclockwise) is not there. I will check out the other provided link to a counterclockwise example, and add that important bit of information and re-upload.

The Kitchen Slime GLE entry is obviously truncated. Only about half of the original description exists, with the information you really want missing. Later today I will be updating copyright information, etc., and will try to see what was omitted, and replace it. Hopefully, my personal back-up file will be found to be complete, and the reconstruction will be able to be done quickly.

I have uploaded the replacement Statz Page image and its thumbnail to the web host. You may need to use the refresh key (F5) to see the change.

Is there any chance that BabelFish (or similar program) could finish the translation well enough for an old geezer like me to be able to understand it? (If I could do it ... anyone could!)

This person has sent a link to a "training map", but it looks like the level was never released and the website is no longer accessible. GooRoo, maybe you have the .wwd? I did not see a link, and do not have a WWD ... or it was lost along with one of my computer deaths.
