I am curious. Are you still working on the map ? I was turned out from the reality for last 2 weekz. And yes, I have stopped designing, it's all my fault.

Only 1 Grunt... Insanity. You need to hold some Switchez, if I remember. Or the toy-playing enemy could hold. If so, you may be really talented Designer, this tactic of playing needs giant smartness! Also, you like creating levelz, so you may send some to GooRoo, by mail. Ask him for something by PM ( Personal Message). He may also add you to the Designer group, as you want. Have fun with Gruntz!

So, in the picture below (solid/spikez), the first example would cost 5 "flylez", and the second one 9? ----- ----- ----- ----- ^^^^^ ^^^^^ ^^^^^ ^^^^^ ^^^^^
^^^^^ ----- ^^^^^ ----- ^^^^^ ----- ^^^^^ ----- ^^^^^ The "fly" is used if going not only by the spikez, but also at the placez before/after them. Of course, these spikez may be replaced by a death field, in our example.

That time of grunt stayed on switch is not enough long for game. And grunt is not died And are you tried rolling ballz once? Yes, I did. Note that the speed has no matter, the Grunt is always alive! Also, very interesting event... I wanted (only for fun) to crash the game by hyper-fast pressing the Switch (like if you place TileTrigger with 0 Points or Damage on the Toggling Bridge). So... I placed the Rolling Ball with negative Speed (so it's immobile) on the Blue Hold Switch. But... The Switch was pressed once! And then it was never pressed, for everytime! JUST WOW!

SwordGrunt said: Bridgez work differently in this regard however, as if you have a Grunt standing on a raised bridge and momentarily step on a hold switch, I'm pretty sure he dies. Probably because water is coded in a different way than solid tilez (pyramidz). Heh, it's one and the same! You're in a mistake; the Bridgez work similar, Gruntz were staying on the Bridgez instead of Pyramidz - identical effect. I tried both Water and Death Tilez - no matter. I just noted only that if pressing this Hold Switch super-fast, the Bridge on the Death Tilez looked to be unmoved... I played on "Gruntz in Space" , maybe this is the reason.

I think that is okay: The item is lying on the ground (like spikes) or where the ground would be (bridge, hole), but the springz and wingz fly just higher than that level. The fact that you discovered in this thread is likely to be a mistake. But... Not every time Hole protects Itemz from picking them up... If a Grunt )ies in a Hole, he gets also everything which was placed above it, for example a beatiful Coin... The Grunt could even unlock SecretTeleporterTrigger if it was exactly here!

OK, I see. Could be a nasty little trick in a CL: The player needs a move-around toy to get rid of an enemy, but there's a yoyo in the way. For me - it looks like a mistake. I didn't think about using this in practice, but... You can also see that Springz Grunt or Wingz one cannot pick up anything which is on the Tile that is jumped or passed by Wingz, for example on the Casino Conflictz, where you need (to pick up a Curse) to have not only Wingz Grunt, but also the raised Bridge under the item.

Grunt was stayed on switch very short. And the pyramid was raised and lowered very fast. Making it all simply. There are even more "bugz" like this, and I described all in the Threadz from Olio. They are specific for the Gruntz game.

well, it seems like the best approach would be to find the order to go to the switches to, then keep him trapped even after he breaks the toy, then move onto the next switch. It all still looks to be unsolved... Again. Everything looks that I have to make 2 of 4 Switchez pressed. My Grunt have pressed one of the Switchez, so I have to force the Shield to step on the second one. I probably need to use Toyz, and one way is to let the Shield Grunt break his Toy on the BHS. But, I show you again: This way, the Switch is still unpressed, even if the Shield Grunt stays on this Tile.Guys, is it some "bug" or what? Could everyone help me? BattlezM, does this trick which I described work in YOUR computer?

...in this situation. It works completely the same like this "bug". Attachment DeletedIt's all able because the Grunt doesn't stay longer in certain position.

Interessant. Does this only happen if the Grunt doesn't stop at that place, or will it also stand "on top of" the coin? HERE is that trick... Watch carefully. I said the Grunt to move to the Coin at the very right, so he wasn't grabbed the Coin on the another side. If you say him to move to the Coin at the very left, he will definitely pick it up, because he's staying longer on it.

i didn't get it how do i build brikz every time i set the logic to brickz and the imege it says invaild brik PLEASE, why to complicate it... I use Object Rectangles Box every time - no matter, is it Questz or Battlez map - and it always works. The GruntzEd manual is able to describe you using "Brickz" logic.

...there's something like this. Attachment DeletedI think, the Wingz cannot get any InGameIcon at the landing place (not only Coinz).

If I understood: to give the Pogo Stickz to the Shield, every time he must break the Toy on the BHS. But I observe that like this, he won't activate the Switch until he detects a Grunt.

My Springz is staying close to the Crumbling Bridge, and the Gauntletz - at the beginning. My Springz Grunt cannot pick up the Shovel, other way he can't go across the Bridge on the west from the Crumbling one. I need to move Gauntletz across the Holez, but how to do it, if I can,t get the Shovel? BattlezM, try to solve my problem by another way. Let someone make the walkthrough, or describe me how can you solve this puzzle in which I am for now. Also, I note that it's unable to move the Shield Gruntz to their Switchez.

Post fragmentz by BattlezM: Unexpected. I think, this puzzle had the most sense, as I can see now after your grade. If building bigger hard levelz, it could be one of the more difficult puzzlez. I knew that there will be able to solve it with leaving some unpressed Switchez... I tried to find a method to avoid it, but no way. Thankz. You know, there are still some levelz which must be prepared, for (good!) example "The Warped Labyrinth". You're probably not happy from them, but... They're still interesting a little...

Just to add to the conversion: Converted Gruntz will change to the team and color of the converter, but will become more 'stupid'... they'll stand still and only respond to an attack when they already lost health These are Gruntz with "0 Points"... And their tacticz is completely similar to a Post Guard. Their behavior won't be copied from the converting Grunt - a Converting Dumb Chaser won't make even more brain-less Chaserz! To know even more about converted Gruntz, see this Thead!

Maybe simply set him to move 2 tilez in all directionz? I think the reason is not about the OSz - just look, for example, at the Goober in World 2 Level 1 " Spyz like us" (on the north, see the map). He movez 1 tile in all directionz, but he never moves diagonally! But, if this is the closed place (for example, the corner, the Grunt can move only up or right), he will still go there, he will never touch the corner you are interested in. There is also one more aspect about our Goober Grunt: he always, like your AI, walks on the same 2 tilez! You can still let him move 1 tile in all directionz (aka wander by one tile), but move the GruntStartingPoint on the activated OS. Maybe he will go one time to the empty tile on upper-right corner. Also I think, the AIz are avoiding the unpressed Switchez for every prize! Even for this reason, your Grunt doesn't want to go diagonally up and right.
